  • Patent number: 5992625
Abstract: A holder for Allen wrenches or other L-shaped tools formed by a cylindrical body having an array of lengthwise grooves of graduated sizes distributed about its circumference each receiving one of a set of Allen wrenches. A radial hole extending into each groove receives the short end of the respective Allen wrench, which is gripped by a corresponding groove in an elastomeric plug fixed to one end of the holder body. The long end sections of the wrenches project beyond the end of the holder in a circular array, exposed to allow a size fit trial with a socket to be wrenched.

  • Patent number: 5989719
Abstract: A heat curable liquid silicone rubber composition with good hydrocarbon oil resistance comprises:(A) a first vinyl-containing polydiorganosiloxane that is vinyldiorganosiloxy terminated, having a viscosity of from 20 to 200 Pa.s at 25.degree. C. and containing essentially no ethylenically unsaturated hydrocarbon radicals bonded to non-terminal silicon atoms,(B) a second vinyl-containing polydiorganosiloxane that is either vinyldiorganosiloxy terminated or triorganosiloxy terminated, miscible with the first polydiorganosiloxane and having a viscosity of from about 0.1 to 200 Pa.s at 25.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5985945
Abstract: Foamable organosiloxane compositions which yield, upon cure, silicone foams having low density and decreased friability, comprising a siloxane base polymer having an average of at least two hydroxyl groups per molecule, a silicon-containing crosslinker for the siloxane base polymer, wherein the crosslinker contains at least two --SiH groups per molecule; a platinum group catalyst; a silicone resin copolymer; and optionally, a blowing agent; and silicone foams prepared therefrom. A method of weather-stripping a door or window using a silicone foam so prepared.
