  • Publication number: 20230132192
Abstract: The present technology provides a multi-purpose cooking apparatus that provides simultaneous smokeless grilling for food products and air frying for food products utilizing the same fan and heating elements. A lower portion of the apparatus includes an enclosed air fryer cooking chamber with a closable door. The air fryer cooking chamber is heated with heating elements and a fan for blowing heated air through the cooking chamber. The upper portion of the apparatus utilizes the same upper heating elements as the air fryer chamber and includes a grilling surface, such as a grilling plate, in an enclosed interior cooking environment. The fan pulls air from the upper portion, filters smoke from the air, and returns the air to the lower portion of the apparatus. The heated, smokeless, circulated air from the fan is used to air fry in the lower portion.

  • Publication number: 20220304513
Abstract: The present technology provides a device, such as a food processor with interchangeable components to allow the device to serve as a juicer, pasta maker, slicer, grinder, and frozen dessert maker. The device driver receives components that attach to the outlet of the device driver via a screwed connection or other suitable connection. The device drives a central shaft connected to interchangeable components that mix pasta ingredients, drive an extrusion auger, drive a rotating slicer, or perform any other suitable functions. The components may extrude pasta, juiced pulp, frozen desserts, or ground meat. The components may receive food products and auger the food products via a tube or cylinder via a helical screwed surface of the auger. Other components drive a food slicer or a meat grinder. By changing the components connected to the drive motor of the device, five different food processing functions may be utilized.

  • Publication number: 20220163212
Abstract: The present technology provides a dual zone multi-purpose cooking apparatus with a removable divider between the zones and separate horizontally opening doors for each zone. The multi-purpose cooking apparatus has a cooking chamber that is dividable into two separate cooking chambers that each are able to cook in multiple configurations, such as air frying, grilling, baking, toasting, broiling, or other suitable cooking configuration. The multi-purpose cooking apparatus controls the cooking configuration in each chamber separately to allow different cooking configurations to operate simultaneously. The two chambers are divided by a removable dividing wall. The dividing wall, when inserted between the chambers, separates the heat and the air flow that are provided by separate heating elements and fans in each of the chambers. When the dividing wall is removed, the two chambers combine to form a single, larger chamber.

  • Publication number: 20220133085
Abstract: The present technology provides a device, such as an electric grill, that cooks food items on two or more sides. The electric grill includes upper and lower elements to create the sealed interior cooking environment. One of the elements of the electric grill includes a pressure plate that compresses the distance between the upper and lower thermal plate to create a sealed interior cooking environment and to engage the food item with both an upper and lower element. The pressure plate may be compressed by one or more spring-actuated cylinders or any other suitable mechanism. The compressed cooking area allows the cooking environment to contain any smoke generated from the cooking environment.

  • Publication number: 20220104655
Abstract: The present technology provides a device, such as a waffle form, that uses an alternative heat source to cook a waffle instead of an internal heating element or a direct flame. The waffle form includes upper and lower elements to allow the waffle maker to be closed to create a sealed interior cooking environment and then placed in a chamber to allow circulated heated air to heat the surface of the waffle maker. The upper element may have configurable shapes, such as concave or convex, to create waffles of different shapes or to allow stuffing ingredients to be baked into the waffle. The waffle maker may use connections and a fastening mechanism to allow the waffle maker to be suspended from rotisserie connections in a multi-purpose cooker, such as an air fryer, rotated around an axis, and removed after the waffle is fully cooked.

  • Publication number: 20210231148
Abstract: A connector for attachment of two frame elements in a framing system has a connector body of similar rectangular section to the frame elements. A flat inner engagement face of the connector body engages with a flat end face of a first frame element, and essentially forms an extension of the first frame element. An outer engagement face of the connector body is substantially parallel to the inner engagement face and in use abuts against a flat side wall of a second frame element. The outer engagement face has two outwardly projecting lips along opposite side edges of the connector body at the outer face. Each lip has a curved inner face for engagement with opposed radiused edges at opposite sides of the flat side wall face of the second frame element. A flat outer face of the lip forms an extension of a side wall of the connector body and provides a smooth transition between adjacent side walls of the two frame elements.
