  • Publication number: 20180020781
Abstract: A strap includes an elongate flexible resilient (elastic) base having a plurality of spaced paired attachment sections mounted therealong. Each paired attachment section includes first and second elements, which are adapted to be attachable to each other and are mounted to the base to face away from each other, and on opposite sides of the base. The paired attachment sections include patches of hook and loop fasteners. The patches of hook fasteners are mounted spaced along one side of the base, and the patches of loop fasteners are mounted spaced along the opposite side of the base. The patches are thus ‘back to back’ in each section.

  • Publication number: 20160371762
Abstract: Systems and methods in accordance with the disclosure provide product recommendations and other information for a conventional home-based energy monitoring system. An exemplary system in accordance with the disclosure is adapted to exchange information with a conventional home energy monitoring system to collect electricity information from electrical equipment within a residential or other building. Data relating to electricity usage information of appliances and other electrical equipment in a monitored site is collected by the monitoring system and provided to an Internet-based server on a regular basis. Product recommendation algorithms executing on the server utilize this data together with information relating to individual electrical appliances and equipment, rebate and incentive information and user-defined or default investment priorities or other economic criteria, to generate recommendations for replacement of the electrical appliance/equipment currently in use at the monitored premises.

  • Patent number: 9249835
Abstract: An extruded bearing housing is provided. The extruded bearing housing includes a radially inner ring, and a radially outer ring located concentric with the radially inner ring. The extruded bearing housing includes webs that connect the radially inner ring and the radially outer ring, and the webs are arranged at an acute angle to a circumferential direction. Openings axially extend through the bearing housing and are defined between the webs, the radially inner ring, and the radially outer ring. Adjacent ones of the webs extend in opposite directions from each other.

  • Publication number: 20090198173
Abstract: An ambulatory device for use in therapeutic and/or cosmetic treatment has a localised light source such as an LED (e.g. 6; 19; 46; 119; 219). Light from the source is output through an output surface which, in use, covers the area to be treated, and light is distributed over that surface by means of a diffusing member (e.g. 14; 114; 214) of which the output surface may form an integral part.
