  • Patent number: 10531043
Abstract: A method and computer system for determining a reputation threshold requirement for participating in a collaboration session. A determination is made whether a reputation of a user satisfies the reputation threshold requirement for the collaboration session. Access to the collaboration session is enabled if the reputation of the user satisfies the reputation threshold requirement for the collaboration session. Access to the collaboration session is disabled if the reputation of the user fails to satisfy the reputation threshold requirement for the collaboration session.

  • Patent number: 10185780
Abstract: The disclosure includes a system and method configured for resharing content items. The system includes a processor and memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the system to: receive one or more social-content items that contain one or more first links; determine whether the one or more social-content items are related to a news-story cluster (including one or more news-story items) based on the one or more first links, the news-story cluster including one or more second links; responsive to determining that the one or more social-content items are related to the news-story cluster, associate the one or more social-content items with the news-story cluster; rank the one or more social-content items; and generate a resharing content item including the one or more ranked social-content items.

  • Publication number: 20180147373
Abstract: A pressure regulating device includes a housing having a gases inlet adapted to in use be in fluid communication or integrated with a breathing assistance apparatus which conveys gases to an infant or a neonate requiring breathing assistance, an outlet adapted to be in use in fluid communication with said infant, and an aperture which enables the venting of a portion of gases that in use are passing through the housing from the inlet to the outlet. A tube inlet on the housing is adapted to receive a surfactant delivery device therethrough to enable administration of surfactant to the infant or neonate. A sealing mechanism seals around the surfactant delivery device and is adapted to normally fluidically seal the tube inlet and in use allow the surfactant delivery device to pass through the tube inlet.

  • Patent number: 9888086
Abstract: The disclosure includes a system and method for providing an association recommendation to a user. The system includes a processor and a memory storing instructions that when executed cause the system to: receive a request to disassociate with a first topic from a first user; identify one or more labels and one or more refined topics associated with the first topic; determine a second user that shares one or more second topics in common with the first user; retrieve social graph data describing a social graph associated with the second user; and determine, based on the social graph data associated with the second user, an association recommendation relevant to the first user from the one or more labels and the one or more refined topics.

  • Patent number: 9870579
Abstract: Methods are presented for managing shareable content articles in a social network. One of the methods includes receiving a plurality of articles from a publisher for access to selected users in the social network. In one example, the received articles are identified as having premium content. Each of the received articles is assigned a sharing parameter that includes a sharing threshold. The method further includes receiving a request from a first user, who is identified from the selected users of the social network, to share an article identified from the plurality of received articles with a second user in the social network, and providing the second user with access to the article when the sharing threshold is satisfied. The article is presented to the second user with supplemental content.

  • Patent number: 9750905
Abstract: A pressure regulating device includes a housing having an inlet, a main outlet, an J an external venting outlet. An internal venting aperture is between the inlet and the external venting outlet. A valve is between the external venting outlet and the internal venting aperture. When the pressure of gases in the flow path is below a predetermined level, the valve at least partially blocks the internal venting aperture. When the pressure is above the predetermined level, the valve opens to allow at least a portion of the gases to flow from the inlet through the internal venting aperture and the external venting outlet. The valve is shaped to open in such a manner that the portion of gases flowing varies with the flow rate, such that the pressure at the main outlet is substantially constant over the flow rate range.

  • Patent number: 8405448
Abstract: An apparatus for programming a fuse includes a programmable branch comprising a fusable element and a reverse-biased diode connected in series. The programmable branch is connected in parallel with a current boost capacitor. An electrical source or input supplies a current that is sufficient to charge the current boost capacitor to a breakdown voltage of the reverse-biased diode and subsequently melt the reverse-biased diode. Melting the reverse-biased diode may induce a reduction in voltage across the current boost capacitor and result in a current surge through the programmable branch that is sufficient to program (i.e. blow) the fusable element. A corresponding method for programming a fuse is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8156185
Abstract: The invention includes methods and software for presenting a user with a set of interfaces that reveal what events are to occur, or are likely to occur, in a transaction, and provide the ability to program the automatic monitoring of these anticipated events with a customizable set of alerts. A merchant encodes events that are possible for the transaction as part of developing an online transaction system such as an online catalog. The data regarding these events is encoded in an electronic communication, such as an email or onsite transaction history item, such that this data can be detected by a receiving system. The method includes presenting and setting monitoring options for event notices that have not yet been received. The chosen options for event notices that have not yet been received are used to program the monitoring and alerting of the user when such event notices have or have not been received.

  • Patent number: 7586191
Abstract: An integrated circuit apparatus with heat removal has an electrical interconnection network. The electrical interconnection network has a plurality of electrically and thermally conductive vias in electrical communication with terminals of at least one semiconductor device. An electrically insulating heat spreader is chemically bonded to each of the vias at an upper layer of the electrical interconnection network. At the upper layer the vias are electrically isolated from each other. In some embodiments the electrically insulating heat spreader is a polycrystalline diamond body with a metallized undersurface. The metallized undersurface may be etched away between vias.
