  • Patent number: 7072341
Abstract: A device provides for sending datagrams representing real time streaming media frames to a client independent of whether the client is served by a network address proxy. The device receives a datagram originated by the client that includes an indicated network address and an indicated port number for receipt of the datagrams representing real time streaming media frames, extracts a source network address and a source port number from the datagram originated by the client, and compares the indicated network address to the source network address. The device addresses the datagrams representing real time streaming media frames to the source network address and source port number if the indicated network address and the source network address are not the same.

  • Patent number: 7050422
Abstract: A method for communicating real time media data between a first client and a second client across a packet switched data network is provided. The method includes receiving an indication of a first client network address for use as a destination network address for sending media datagrams to the first client. A media datagram originated by the first client is also received. A comparison between the first client network address and a source network address extracted from the media datagram originated by the first client is made. A media datagram is sent to the first client using the source network address if the source network address and the first client network receiving address are not the same and the media datagram is sent to the first client using the first client network address if the source network address and the first client network address are the same.

  • Publication number: 20060029455
Abstract: Conventional dispensers for a cosmetic fluid, such as a liquid, comprises a bottle having a housing for a low regulator, such as a roller or preferably a ball and a cap which is securable to the bottle by a single set of co-operating screw threads. An improved dispenser secures the cap to the bottle, and especially to the housing, by a plurality of sets of mounting elements, one of which comprises a cam providing axial movement of the cap when it is rotated around the bottle and the other a follower, such a lug and bayonet. One element is mounted on the interior of the cap and the other on the exterior of the bottle/housing. The mounting elements on the bottle/housing advantageously are separated both laterally around the periphery and axially so as to permit the mounting elements on the cap to pass axially between adjacent bottle elements and the cap to be rotated until matched sets of elements are brought into contact.

  • Patent number: 6993012
Abstract: A method of audio communication between a first telephony client located behind a network address translation (NAT) server and a remote second telephony client is disclosed. A calibration datagram is sent from the first telephony client to the second telephony client on a user datagram protocol (UDP) channel identified for sending audio data. The second telephony client extracts the source address and port number to identify a reverse UDP channel for sending audio data to the first telephony client.

  • Publication number: 20060018704
Abstract: In cosmetic dispensers for fluids, such as for example deodorants or antiperspirants comprising a bottle, a flow regulator in a housing mounted on the bottle and a cap rotatably mounted on the bottle or particularly onto the flow regulator housing, there is a risk that the housing can part from the bottle or be moved out of alignment by fitting or removal of the cap. This problem can be ameliorated or eliminated by employing a plurality of sets of anti-rotation elements at or adjacent to the mouth of the bottle around its periphery, each set comprising a peg and a socket. Preferably, the housing is bifurcated inward of the flow regulator, one wall extending within the bottle and the other wall extending out side the wall, and desirably the bottle wall is of reduced wall thickness in the overlap so that the exterior of the bottle surface and housing surface can be flush at their line of contact.

  • Patent number: 6697377
Abstract: A tunneling address translation engine enables a Internet protocol packet audio conversation to be maintained between two device. At least one of the devices may be behind a firewall or behind a network address translator, or proxy server. The tunneling address translation engine routes frames of audio data to an intended destination utilizing unreliable data protocols which do not include source address information. An audio conversation may be maintained through a sequence of tunneling address translation engines.

  • Patent number: 6129278
Abstract: By providing subpixel accuracy in the detection of the position of an element of a pixel data image, the invention makes possible reductions in scanner and storage resolution of the order of 65 percent or greater for two-dimensional applications. Methods use normalized gray level values to determine the extent of coverage of an image cell by individual pixels. By then applying such gray level values of a plurality of successive pixels to a preconstructed lookup table, ambiguities are resolved to determine the position of cell edges. The cell edge data can be used to determine cell position or used directly in edge-based bar code decoding techniques. Cell position data is used for construction of a virtual image of a bar code or other dataform of interest and virtual image information may then be used for purposes of decoding the bar code or other dataform.

  • Patent number: 5821518
Abstract: A portable non-contact label imager captures an image of two-dimensional information indicia on a label. The captured image data is decoded by a decoder. The label imager forms a part of a data terminal, which includes a keypad, display and signature capture pad. Upon receipt of a start signal from the data terminal's circuitry, the label imager automatically carries out the steps required to capture the label information indicia. The label imager provides aiming indicia to allow the user to properly aim the camera. A position sensing device determines when the target label is within the camera's depth of field. At that time, the label imager determines the shutter speed required for a correct exposure by measuring the light reflected from the label. The label imager then captures the label image, which is decoded by the decoder. Corresponding output data is then provided to the data terminal.
