  • Publication number: 20230133473
Abstract: Safes and related locking assemblies, mechanisms, and enclosures. In some embodiments, the locking mechanism may comprise one or more fixed locking members, such as studs, mounted on or otherwise coupled to the body of the safe or other enclosure, such as a box, building, vehicle, trailer or the like. In some embodiments, the locking members may be mounted to the door/lid frame of the enclosure. Additional moveable locking members may be positioned on and/or moveably coupled with the safe door, which may allow the moveable locking members to engage the fixed locking members on the door frame to lock the door/lid in place.

  • Patent number: 9038693
Abstract: Barrier systems and associated methods, including vapor and/or fire barrier systems, are disclosed herein. One aspect of the invention is directed toward a barrier system that includes a barrier coupled to a spool, and a drive system. The barrier is positioned to be wound onto and off of the spool as the barrier moves between a deployed position and a retracted position by the drive assembly. The system further includes a clutch configured to resist movement of the barrier system unless directed by the drive system, and to release the barrier to allow manual egress when power to the drive system fails. The system further includes a latch configured to retain the barrier in a retracted position and to prevent the barrier from deploying when power fails and the clutch releases.

  • Patent number: 7601283
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for shaping a corner of a printed circuit board are disclosed. An apparatus in accordance with one embodiment includes a carrier configured to releasably contact a printed circuit board, a curved contact surface positioned to roll against a corner of the printed circuit board. Optionally, another curved contact surface can be positioned to roll against another corner of the printed circuit board. The contact surface can be rotatable relative to the carrier about a rotation axis that is generally parallel to at least a portion of the curved contact surface. The contact surface can be continuous or discontinuous, and can shape the corner of the printed circuit board with a reduced tendency for damage to the printed circuit board. Multiple contact surfaces can be rotatable about different rotation axes.
