Abstract: A biodegradable payload material delivery and notification device includes a biodegradable shell enclosing at least a portion of a biodegradable detector that includes a payload material, and biodegradable circuitry electrically connected to the detector and capable of performing a delivery notification operation. The biodegradable shell degrades upon exposure to environmental conditions causing release of an amount of the payload material, and the detector communicates release of the amount of the payload material to the circuitry causing the circuitry to perform the delivery notification operation. The delivery notification operation includes generating and transmitting to a mesh network a signal having one or more parameters that are correlated with the amount of the payload material released. A mesh network includes a plurality of biodegradable devices and one or more edge collection devices.

Abstract: A method of providing a number of versions of a presentation in a web conference may comprise streaming at least two different versions of a presentation associated with a web conference over a network to at least one client device, and providing an option to the client device to view an alternative one of the versions. An associated computing system and computer program product are also described. Finally, a method of viewing a number of versions of a web conference presentation in a web conference may comprise, with a client device, joining a web conference presented over a network, and switching between at least two different versions of the presentation based on permissions assigned to a passcode.

Abstract: A web conferencing system includes web conferencing server for outputting a visual presentation which includes a visual cue. The visual cue is linked with an executable action. A visual robot operated by the web conferencing server graphically recognizes the visual cue when the visual presentation is displayed in a web conference, and associates the visual cue with the executable action. The executable action is then executed.

Abstract: A method for translating selected content in a web conference may include receiving, by a processing device, a selected area in an image from a shared application in a web conference. The selected area may contain text for translation into a chosen language. The method may also include performing an optical character recognition process on the text in the selected area of the image to provide OCR resulting text. The method may additionally include translating the OCR resulting text into the chosen language. The method may further include presenting the translated OCR resulting text in the chosen language to at least a translation requester in the web conference.

Abstract: A method for simultaneously participating in a plurality web conferences may include generating, by a computer system, a web conference instance for each web conference being joined. The method may also include polling a corresponding web conferencing server for web conference information by each web conference instance on the computer system. The method may additionally include polling for both audio and video information in response to a chosen web conference instance being an active web conference instance on the computer system. The polling may be performed at a predetermined time interval or polling term. The method may further include setting a polling term for each inactive web conference instance on the computer system that is longer than the predetermined time interval or polling term of the active web conference instance.

Abstract: A method for minimizing delays in web conference switches between presenters and applications may include receiving a key frame of content selected by a user for sharing in response to the user being a presenter and having content to share. The method may also include storing the key frame of the selected content in a buffer in response to the user not being a current presenter. The method may additionally include sharing the key frame of the content with participants of the web conference, by the processing device, in response to an indication that a previous presenter has completed his presentation and the user being a next presenter in a presenter queue.
