  • Patent number: 7066440
Abstract: A waler bracket for use with a concrete forming systems which incorporates a captive wedge for tightening the wale against the form panels to bring them into planar alignment. The wedge is held in it's open position by means of a notch in it's edge.

  • Patent number: 7058022
Abstract: A method of configuring a network access device having a network address associated with an extra-regional service provider with a new network address associated with a regional access network provider, where the network access device is connected to a regional access network connected to a plurality of extra-regional service networks. The method includes receiving a request from the network access device requesting the release of access to the extra-regional service network, sending a response from the regional access network, and receiving a network address change request using a configuration protocol. In another aspect of the invention, the network address associated with an extra-regional service provider is automatically released when a regional access network server fails to receive a request to renew the network address lease, and a new network address associated with the regional access network is assigned to the network access device.

  • Patent number: 7015028
Abstract: A multi-stage process and system for treating organic waste materials includes steps of hydrolyzing the materials in an anaerobic vessel, transferring the liquid product of hydrolysis to an anaerobic digester, and further decomposing the waste materials under aerobic conditions to yield a compost product usable as a soil amendment. Biogas produced by digestion of the hydrolysis liquid product may be burned to generate electricity or heat, and the liquid digester product may be recirculated for use as an inoculant to aid hydrolysis of subsequently processed batches of waste materials.

  • Patent number: 4673459
Abstract: A free flow evaporator of the falling film type has the heating elements disposed in a circular configuration so that each extends radially a distance less than the interior radius of the evaporator cylindrical vessel. Heating vapor is introduced concentrically into the top of the vessel and passes into the tops of the heating elements, and condensate is withdrawn from the bottoms of the heating elements in the vessel. Excess vapor passes through a vapor vent in the bottom of the vessel. The boiling liquid, such as black liquor from paper pulp processing, is introduced through a header above an annular channel with a perforated plate bottom, the perforated plate being disposed on top of the heating elements. The evaporated liquid vapor passes radially outwardly in the vessel, and then upwardly, and is discharged from the top of the vessel and passes to the top of another vessel (providing another effect), to provide heating vapor to the other vessel.
