  • Patent number: 6868630
Abstract: A front-loading picture holding system comprising a transparent plate, a support surface supporting the transparent plate and a picture between the transparent plate and the support surface, and a base that receives the transparent plate and the support surface is provided. Magnets are fixed to the transparent plate and the support surface. The support surface has an edge that is located near the perimeter of the support surface and recessed into the rearward of the base. Ferromagnetic body may be used instead of the magnet either in the transparent plate or in the support surface. The transparent plate is removably attached to the support surface by magnetic force between the plate magnet and the corresponding surface magnet, and the transparent plate may be pulled apart by pressing the transparent plate over the edge and pivoting the transparent plate over the support surface.

  • Publication number: 20030126780
Abstract: A photo lens with magnet includes a clear lens having an interior surface, an exterior surface, a lens perimeter and a center. One or more magnets are attached to the clear lens. The magnet is attracted to a metal surface by a magnetic force. The magnetic force attaches the lens to the metal surface. A photo can be securely positioned between the metal surface and the lens. The lens can easily be removed from the metal surface to change the photo.

  • Publication number: 20030121193
Abstract: A front-loading picture frame includes a base frame that has a front surface and a back surface. A metal sheet made of a magnetically attracting metal is attached to the base frame. The magnetically attracting metal sheet will draw a first magnet toward the metal. A clear lens is attached to the front surface of the base frame. The lens has an interior surface that faces the base frame. A first magnet is attached to the clear lens. The first magnet is attracted to the metal sheet by a magnetic force. The magnetic force holds the clear lens tightly in position on the front surface of the base frame.
