Publication number: 20240095373Abstract: Provided are mechanisms and processes for computational risk analysis and intermediation. Security practices information characterizing security measures in place at a first computing system may be received from the first computing system via a network. Computing services interaction information characterizing data transmitted from a second computing system to the first computing system may be received from the second computing system via the network. A processor may determine a risk profile for the first computing system based on the security practices information. Based on the risk profile and the computing services interaction information, the processor may then determine an estimate of the information security risk associated with transmitting the data from the second computing system to the first computing system. A risk assessment message including the estimate of the information security risk may be transmitted to the second computing system.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 29, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Applicant: Valente Sherman, Inc.Inventors: Russell SHERMAN, Paul Valente

Publication number: 20070191170Abstract: An axle assembly that includes a differential case which is rotatable about an axis, a pair of side gears that are disposed within the differential case, a spacer ring and a cross pin. The spacer ring is disposed between the side gears. The cross pin is fixed to one of the differential case and the spacer ring and extends through the spacer ring. The aperture in the spacer that receives the cross pin may be larger than the cross pin so that the spacer ring can control end play of the side gears independently of the cross pin.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 3, 2007Publication date: August 16, 2007Applicant: American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc.Inventor: Paul Valente

Publication number: 20070037656Abstract: An axle assembly that includes a differential casing, which is rotatable about an axis, a pair of side gears that are disposed within the differential casing, a spacer and a cross pin. The spacer is disposed between the side gears. The cross pin is fixed to the differential casing and extends through the spacer. The cross pin is employed to limit end play of the axle shafts in a direction toward one another. The aperture in the spacer that receives the cross pin is relatively larger than the cross pin so that the spacer can control end play of the side gears independently of the cross pin.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 20, 2006Publication date: February 15, 2007Inventor: Paul Valente

Publication number: 20060247088Abstract: A differential assembly includes a differential housing defining a chamber and a pair of aligned openings communicating with the chamber. A pair of output shafts extend through the openings in the differential housing and include end segments located within the chamber. A pair of side gears are positioned within the chamber and fixed to the end segments of the output shaft. Paired sets of pinions are rotatably mounted within the differential housing and placed in meshed engagement with each other and with one of the side gears. A retention assembly interconnects the end segments and includes a spacer having a web positioned between and walls partially encompassing the end segments. The retention assembly includes a ring surrounding the spacer to selectively retain and allow removal of clips engaged with the end segments.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 27, 2005Publication date: November 2, 2006Inventor: Paul Valente

Publication number: 20050197229Abstract: A differential assembly for a vehicle includes a differential casing rotatable about an axis. A pair of side gears are disposed within the differential casing. A first, second, third and fourth pair of pinion bores are formed in the differential casing. A first, second, third and fourth pair of pinion gears are slidably and rotatably disposed in the first, second, third and fourth pair of pinion bores respectively. A window opening is formed in the differential casing between the first and fourth pair of pinion gears. The second pair of pinion bores are radially offset an equivalent distance from the first and third pair of pinion bores. The third pair of pinion bores are radially offset an equivalent distance from the second and the fourth pair of pinion bores. The differential assembly incorporates a cross pin adapted to limit inward movement of a pair of axle shafts and a spacer adapted to limit inward movement of the side gears.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 5, 2004Publication date: September 8, 2005Inventor: Paul Valente
