  • Publication number: 20140019493
Abstract: The subject software application combines a means for recording trip information contained in optical machine readable form using a handheld optical reader and for annotating additional information to such trip records to create trip data which can be collected, stored, statistically analysed and reported.

  • Publication number: 20110051946
Abstract: The subject system combines a sound generating controller device with a domestic air conditioning unit. The sound controller synchronises the speed and direction of the airblower and directional airflow vanes, thus being able to simulate a variety of natural environments. The integration of a sound generation device, and the further synchronisation of these sounds with the operation of the airflow speed and directional controls on the air conditioner, are distinguishing features of this system proposal. An active noise canceller is optional, to further eliminate unwanted external noises.

  • Publication number: 20110023509
Abstract: The subject system is an air conditioner system for vehicles that uses compressed air as the means of powering the airconditioner refrigerant cycle instead of mechanical or electrical means. The subject system is designed to capture and store braking energy by compressing air and recharging a compressed air reservoir while the vehicle is under deceleration. The air compressor can also be powered from the main vehicle engine or motor to recharge the compressed air reservoir at other times. The stored compressed air system allows the air conditioner to be operated independently of the main vehicle motor. This system does not provide motive power for the vehicle.
