In one example, a method comprises presenting the gift shopper with at least one question from a questions repository through an interface of an electronic device, receiving a response from the gift shopper to the at least one question, presenting the gift shopper with a recommendation for at least one gift, receiving an indication from the gift shopper of the desirability of the at least one gift, analyzing data regarding the at least one question presented, the response received, and the indication received to asses one of the effectiveness and the efficiency of the at least one question presented in facilitating the selection of the gift, and recording an indication of the assessment in a knowledge repository.
