  • Publication number: 20080087859
Abstract: A valve comprising an inlet housing, an outlet housing, an elastomeric valve element having a generally dome-shaped configuration with a central integral stem positioned substantially concentrically therewith, the inlet housing and outlet housing being fastened together at a joint with the elastomeric valve element positioned therein and the valve element including a plurality of longitudinal ribs formed along an outer annular periphery of a lower end of the dome-shaped configuration that define flow channels that allow fluid flow from across an upper surface of the dome-shaped configuration through the flow channels.
    Type: Application
    Filed: November 19, 2007
    Publication date: April 17, 2008
Inventors: Jon Enerson, Pavel Miller, Gregory Jordan
  • Publication number: 20080067462
Abstract: A stopcock for connection in-line with a fluid line including a main valve body main having at least a plurality of inlets, including a stopcock valve element positioned within the main valve body that controls the flow of fluid through the inlets and a swabbable valve fitted to one of the inlets.
    Type: Application
    Filed: August 9, 2007

  • Publication number: 20050261637
Abstract: A slit-type T-port site that includes a swabbable valve with a slit at an end thereof. The valve stem with a slit is located in a valve body and is deformable. When engaged by a tip of an instrument, the top portion of the stem folds inward and its slit opens to form a direct non-hemolytic flow pathway between the instrument and the main T-port site flow channel.
