    Abstract: Embodiments determine a draft force based on forces at hitch points of the tractor, to determine type of soil, on which the tractor is plying. Embodiments determine rotational peripheral velocity of the implement and forward velocity of the tractor. Embodiments provide recommendations for adjusting the rotational peripheral velocity of the implement and the forward velocity of the tractor based on the soil type, the rotational peripheral velocity of the implement, and the forward velocity of the tractor. The recommendation is provided, if the ratio of the rotational peripheral velocity of the implement and the forward velocity of the tractor falls outside an optimal range.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a harvesting system for variety of grain crops. The harvesting system comprises a harvester control unit, a grain loss monitoring GLM-ECU, a cloud communication interface ECU, a plurality of sensors, a controller area network (CAN), a buzzer/alarming device, a display unit, a cloud and a mobile application. The GLM-ECU is configured to process signals from a sieve sensor and a straw walker sensor. The harvester control unit is configured to process signals received from the plurality of sensors and the cloud communication interface ECU serves as an interface to interchange the data between the harvester control unit and the cloud . The harvester system results in increase in productivity and trust among the stake holders by virtue of real-time information sharing.

Embodiments disclosed herein relate to agricultural vehicles, and more particularly to methods and systems for an integrated sensing and self-charging in agricultural implements. A control system disclosed herein for an agricultural implement includes a battery management unit configured to generate power upon sensing speed/rotation of the agricultural implement. The battery management unit is a self-rechargeable unit. The battery management unit is further configured to provide the generated power to the control unit for controlling at least one operation of the agricultural implement. The battery management unit includes at least one of at least one sensor, a secondary battery, a charger circuitry, and a secondary sensor unit.
