  • Patent number: 11590091
Abstract: The present invention describes a pharmaceutical composition at a fixed dose of paracetamol and specifically amitriptyline supported by the pharmacological interaction and safety studies that show its synergy for the anti-allodynic, the mechanical anti-hypernociceptive effects and for the reduction of persistent pain, proportions, safety and neuroprotective capacity. This is aimed to the treatment of mixed pain due to cancer that can be incorporated as another option in the strategy of the WHO analgesic ladder at step 1 for the treatment of mild pain. However, it can also be included in higher steps associated with opioids for the treatment of pain of greater intensity and potentially decrease the escalation of its doses and adverse effects such as tolerance and hyperalgesia.

  • Publication number: 20230054379
Abstract: The present invention describes a pharmaceutical composition that includes a novel molecule with neuroprotective activity, to inhibit the neuroadaptations induced by opioids (tolerance and hyperalgesia) that lead to the successive escalation of its doses in the treatment of pain. In this way, it increases its analgesic efficacy in normal conditions and in neural damage, since this favors the appearance of tolerance/hyperalgesia and resistance to opioid treatment. Likewise, reduce the spontaneous signs of withdrawal associated with its withdrawal and consequently physical dependence and possible addiction. In addition, it describes a method for the treatment of pain with a neuropathic component that is supported by drug interaction and safety studies that show its synergy for the mechanical antihypernociceptive effect.

  • Patent number: 10722491
Abstract: The present invention relates to Chemistry, Pharmaceutical and in particular to the preparation of formulations from derivatives of phenolic or polyphenolic compounds and from derivatives of phenolic or polyphenolic compounds combined with tricyclic systems of the benzodiazepine type fused to derivatives of 1,4-dihydropyridines with action on the Central Nervous and Vascular Systems. These pharmaceutical compositions exhibit GABAergic, antiglutamatergic, calcium channel modulating, mitoprotective, anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiapoptotic action, usable in the treatment of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, neurodegenerative, neuropsychiatric and neurological diseases.
