  • Patent number: 7611172
Abstract: A plug-in coupling for pipes includes a sealing element, a sleeve linked with the base and a retaining element including retaining claws for fixing the pipe end which is disposed in the interior of the sleeve. An annular gap between the base and the sleeve and receives the pipe end. While reducing production and assembly costs, the plug-in coupling ensures a durable and reliable connection and prevents the pipe end from being damaged and the retaining claws from penetrating the pipe end too deeply. The retaining element includes a closed annular part and is integrated into the sleeve and fixed therein with said part. The sleeve includes radially inside the retaining element a support element with an outer supporting face on which the spring-elastic retaining elements are supported. The supporting face is mounted at a predetermined angle which opens up towards the free front sleeve end.

  • Patent number: 7404581
Abstract: A plug-in connector comprising a base body (6), an annular sealing element (12), a clamping ring (50) and an annular body (20) which can be connected to the base body (6). A pipe end (4, 5) against which the sealing element (12) is arranged in a sealing manner, can be secured in the plug-in connector by the clamping ring (50). The plug-in connector of the invention can be connected to an end (4, 5) of at least one pipe in a simple manner and with a high degree of functional reliability, excluding the risk of assembly errors. For this purpose, the sealing ring (12) is arranged in an annular groove (14) of the base body (6) and comprises two sealing beads (60, 62) which are situated against the inner surface of the inserted pipe end (4, 5) in the manner of two o-ring seals.

  • Publication number: 20070001454
Abstract: The invention relates to a plug-in coupling for pipes which comprises a base (2) relative to which a pipe end (60) can be fixed and which can be partially inserted into the pipe end (60). The coupling comprises a sealing element (8), a sleeve (4) linked with the base (2) and a retaining element (6) comprising retaining claws (12) for fixing the pipe end (60) which is disposed in the interior of the sleeve (4). An annular gap (10) is configured between the base (2) and the sleeve (4) and receives the pipe end (60). The aim of the invention is to provide, while reducing production and assembly costs, a plug-in coupling of the aforementioned type which ensures a durable and reliable connection and prevents the pipe end from being damaged and the retaining claws (12) from penetrating the pipe end (60) too deeply. For this purpose, the retaining element (6) comprises a closed annular part (44) and is integrated into the sleeve (4) and fixed therein with said part.
