Abstract: The present invention provides a device and method for synthesizing nucleic acid-templated combinatorial chemical libraries. The device includes a splitting filter having an array of immobilized capture nucleic acids and a chemical coupling filter having an array of non-specific binding features, wherein the plates are positioned to provide for alignment between the capture sites of the first filter and the non-specific binding features of the second filter plate.
