  • Patent number: 11735080
Abstract: The display system includes an automotive system, a display panel, and a panel driving circuit. The panel driving circuit receives a frame from the automotive system and determines if a panel error with respect to the display panel occurs. If the panel error occurs, the panel driving circuit replaces a portion of the frame with an error icon to generate a prompt frame, and transmit the prompt frame to the display panel. If the panel error does not occur, the panel driving circuit transmits the frame to the display panel.

  • Publication number: 20140177198
Abstract: A light source module includes a light guide plate, a reflective plate, and at least one light emitting component. The reflective plate is provided at one side of the light guide plate, and the light emitting component is adjacent to the light guide plate. The light guide plate has at least one surface having an array of plural transparent microstructures. Each of the transparent microstructures has at least one inclined angle on its lateral side. The inclined angles, the sides, and the arrangement density of the transparent microstructures can be the same or changed depending on the positions of the transparent microstructures. The shape of the transparent microstructure can be changed for different requirements. By changing the inclined angles, the sides, and the arrangement density of the transparent microstructures, the light brightness and the light uniformity can be enhanced, and the visual perception of light brightness can be increased.

  • Patent number: 8506117
Abstract: An LED illumination device includes a polygonal reflector and a plurality of LEDs received in the reflector. The reflector includes multiple sidewalls connecting with each other. Each LED is located adjacent to at least one corresponding neighboring sidewall. The polygonal reflector can have a shape of a square, a rectangle, an octagon etc. Light generated by the LEDs has at least a part reflected by the reflector to radiate out of the LED illumination device upwardly. The LED is a top view LED. A top of an LED die of the LED is no higher than a bottom of the sidewalls of the reflector.

  • Patent number: 8328392
Abstract: An LED illumination unit includes a substrate, a plurality of LEDs mounted on the substrate and arranged in rows and columns to form an LED array, and a corresponding number of plate-type light reflectors mounted on the substrate. The LED array has a center and a symmetrical axis across the center. The LEDs is arranged symmetrically on the substrate with respect to the symmetrical axis. Each light reflector is paired with an LED and disposed immediately adjacent to the LED. Each light reflector has a light reflecting surface facing the LED. The light reflectors each defines a mounting angle relative to the symmetrical axis, and the mounting angle is an angle from 0 to 90 degrees. An LED illumination lamp incorporating a plurality of the LED illumination units is also disclosed.
