  • Patent number: 10877935
Abstract: System and method are disclosed for stream computing. An exemplary method may include receive data from a data processing module and determining whether the received data are effective data that are neither incomplete nor duplicative. The method may also include obtaining the effective data when it is determined that the received data are either incomplete or duplicative. In addition, the method may include storing the effective data in a log file of a file system.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: December 29, 2020
    Assignee: Alibaba Group Holding Limited
Inventors: Meifang Li, Pumeng Wei, Peile Duan, Shan Li
  • Patent number: 10560385
Abstract: The present application provides methods and systems for limiting data traffic. According to some embodiments, one exemplary method includes: determining, at an application layer, one or more parent process objects corresponding to a service object; creating at least one corresponding child process object by using the parent process objects respectively, and allocating a maximum input/output (I/O) bandwidth threshold for the child process object and prompting, when it is detected that the child process object inputs or outputs a network data packet, an operating system kernel layer to limit data traffic of the network data packet according to the maximum I/O bandwidth threshold. Embodiments of the present application can improve the stability of network isolation.

  • Publication number: 20170083579
Abstract: A distributed data processing method is provided. The distributed data processing method includes: receiving, by a shard node, data uploaded by a client, wherein the data is directed to a table; storing, by the shard node, the data to a storage directory corresponding to the table; and when the storage is successful, sending, by the shard node, the data to each connected stream computing node to perform stream computing.
