  • Patent number: 7173940
Abstract: The present invention relates to a signaling method and a network element for a virtual private network, wherein a request for dropping a signaling of the virtual private network is transmitted from a network element (DXD) to a proceeding network element (DXC), if the network element (DXD) detects that the virtual private network signaling cannot be continued through a connection of the telecommunication network. A predetermined network element (DXB) is provided for transmitting a transparency information indicating a virtual private network signaling transparency to an originating network element (DVA) of the connection in response to the receipt of the dropping request, and the virtual private network signaling is collected at the predetermined network element. (DXB) Thereby, the public network operator is allowed to optimize the VPN signaling load and service provision by arranging the predetermined network element (DXB) at a suitable location in the transmission network.

  • Patent number: 6668052
Abstract: A method and a system for signaling used in a call setup in a telecommunication system comprising a telephone network, a Centrex exchange belonging to the telephone network and implementing a private number plan, a first telecommunication terminal, which is connected via a first Centrex subscription to the Central exchange, and a second telecommunication terminal, which is connected to the telephone network with a number comprised in the private numbering plan. In the method, a connection is set up between the first and second telecommunication terminals by using the number comprised in the private numbering plan. In the invention, the same APP parameter is used in the Centrex exchange, both for communication with another Centrex exchange and for communication with a VPN exchange, as is used by a OSIG VPN network in VPN ISUP signaling.

  • Publication number: 20020131576
Abstract: The invention concerns a method and a system for signaling used in call setup in a telecommunication system comprising a telephone network (ISDN), a Centrex exchange (SW A) belonging to the telephone network (ISDN) and implementing a private numbering plan, a first telecommunication terminal (TE1), which is connected la a first Centrex subscription (A) to the Centrex exchange (SW A), and a second telecommunication terminal (TE2), which is connected to the telephone network (ISDN) with a number comprised in the private numbering plan. In the method a connection is set up between the first (TE1) and second (TE2) telecommunication terminals by using the number comprised in the private numbering plan. In the invention, the same APP parameter is used in the Centrex exchange, both for communication with another Centrex exchange and for communication with a VPN exchange, as is used by a QSIG VPN network in VPN ISUP signaling.

  • Patent number: 6345091
Abstract: An ISDN telecommunication system and a method for implementing a private branch exchange interface. The system comprises an ISDN exchange (1), a primary rate interface (2), a PBX interface (3) and an ISDN PBX (4) provided with a multi-channelling device (6) for dividing the primary rate interface (2) into at least two PBX interfaces (3, 3′). In the invention, a B channel in the primary rate interface is converted into a D channel, which is used in the PBX interface (3, 3′). On the other hand, the information in the D channel of the primary rate interface (2) can be used and is distributed between the PBX interfaces (3, 3′).
