    Abstract: A method and storage and locking arrangement for storing keys to locks and controlling the use of keys. The storage and locking arrangement consists of a closed box or a similar storage unit, a central lock and its key, as well as a number of auxiliary locks, each having its designated key. The locks are arranged in a closed box or similar storage unit so that they can be unlocked using keys from the outside of the box. The central lock is arranged to control the operation of the auxiliary locks so that when the central lock is locked, it prevents the keys to the auxiliary locks from being removed from their respective locks, and once the central lock is unlocked, it can be used to select the operation of any single auxiliary lock at a time using the corresponding key so that the key to the auxiliary lock can be removed from the auxiliary lock.

    Abstract: A cylinder lock includes a turnable lock cylinder located inside a lock body and a set of code locking discs located inside the lock cylinder. Each locking disc has a key opening and is turnable in the lock body in a first turning direction from an initial position to an opening position by application of turning force to a counter surface bounding the key opening. The key opening of at least a first code locking disc is bounded by at least two discrete counter surfaces. A key is insertable in the lock when the locking discs are all at the initial position. The key has a set of combination surfaces corresponding respectively to the locking discs, for engaging a counter surface of each locking disc and applying turning force thereto when the key is inserted in the lock and is turned in the first turning direction, so that the locking discs are turned in the first turning direction to their respective opening positions.

    Abstract: A cylinder lock and key combination comprises a lock body, a turnable lock cylinder located inside the lock body, and a set of locking discs located inside the lock cylinder. Each locking disc has an opening position in which its peripheral notch is at the position of an axial slot in the lock cylinder, such that when all the locking discs are in their respective opening positions the peripheral notches form a uniform channel at the position of the axial slot. A locking bar has a locking position in which it prevents turning of the cylinder relative to the lock body and a releasing position in which it is received in the channel formed by the peripheral notches of the locking discs and releases the cylinder for turning relative to the lock body.

A locking bar (9;10) which in its locked position is located partly in a groove (12) made in the inner surface of the lock body (5) and partly in a slot (17) in the lock cylinder (6) prevents turning of the lock cylinder (6) with regard to the lock body (5). The locking discs (7) can be turned by means of a key of the lock into a position in which the peripheral notches (13) thereof are located at the position of the locking bar (9;10) forming a uniform channel into which the locking bar (9;10) enters thereby releasing the lock cylinder (6) to turn with regard to the lock body (5).

    Abstract: A cartridge lock having an elongated body and a rotary disc assembly, locking shaft, and at least one bolting element disposed therein. The rotary disc assembly comprises a plurality of discs aligned concentrically within a cylinder, which cylinder is interconnected to one end of the locking shaft by means transmitting turning force thereto. The bolting element is disposed within an aperture within the body and is moved to a position partially protruding therefrom when a bearing surface of the locking shaft is rotated and presented to the bolting element. The rotation of the locking shaft is determined by key action turning the rotary disc assembly from a locked to an unlocked position and the reverse.
