  • Patent number: 11943636
Abstract: A method performed by a network node for beam management. The network node receives one or more quality values from a User Equipment (UE). The one or more quality values are measured by the UE on first reference signals transmitted by the network node in respective one or more beams in a first set of candidate beams. The A serving beam is selected out of the first set of candidate beams based on the received quality values for data communication with the UE. The network node creates a rule related to signal quality. The network node obtains one or more second quality values related to respective subsequent messages transmitted to the UE in the selected serving beam. As long as the rule is fulfilled with respect to the second quality value, the network node transmits one or more further subsequent messages only in the serving beam.

  • Patent number: 11813913
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining a desired speed of a vehicle (1), preferably an autonomous vehicle. The vehicle comprises a shock absorber arrangement (2), preferably an hydraulic shock absorber arrangement, having an elastic hysteresis. The method comprises—obtaining (501) a reference value indicative of the energy dissipated by the shock absorber arrangement (2) in a reference driving condition of a vehicle and—determining (502) a speed of the vehicle for which the value indicative of the energy dissipated by the shock absorber arrangement (2) in a similar driving condition is expected to fall within a predetermined energy dissipation range, using said reference value.

  • Patent number: 11748643
Abstract: A framework system and method for developing hybrid voice/video QoE predictors, which use both network/codec/client parameters as well as the voice/video reference sample(s). The prediction model/algorithm uses deep packet inspection to produce relevant input and therefore the network's impact on the voice/video QoE can be determined without recording actual media (voice/video) content. Therefore, the QoE predictors are neither solely media based as available perceptual metrics, nor available parametric based. The present hybrid voice/video QoE uses the reference/original media information, unlike prior art hybrid video only QoE which use the recorded media (video only).

  • Patent number: 11516426
Abstract: A system, apparatus, computer program product, and method perform controlled video recording of video captured by a camera. The method includes checking by recorder circuitry of receipt of a ping signal sent from a server to the recorder, the ping signal being expected to be received by the recorder circuitry within a predetermined time interval after an earlier ping signal was received (or when an initial ping signal was expected to be received), in response to a determination by the recorder circuitry of not receiving the ping signal, entering an autonomous recording mode, the autonomous recording mode including recording video provided from at least one camera, and continuing operation of the autonomous recording mode until at least one of receiving another ping signal by the recorder circuitry, or receiving a control signal from the server that directs the recorder to stop recording the video provided from the at least one camera.
