Abstract: A method and apparatus for a curved lighting fixture that is symmetric about a longitudinal axis of the curved lighting fixture. The curved lighting fixture includes end caps that are parallel to the longitudinal axis. Each end cap includes two mounting studs that secure the lighting fixture to mounting brackets, where a first mounting stud provides an axis of rotation for the lighting fixture and a second mounting stud facilitates the rotation. The two mounting studs do not enter into an interior portion of the lighting fixture so as to facilitate externally serviceable hardware. A bushing provides an external retention mechanism to retain the two mounting studs within each end cap.

Abstract: A lighting device is provided for controlling the photometric distribution of light emitted by two or more LEDs. The lighting device may be integrated with a control system of the vehicle and may be controlled by a remote controller. The lighting device may be capable of being operated in one or more modes of operation based on operating conditions, user input, or both. Operating conditions may include vehicle conditions, environmental conditions, and user conditions. The controller may operate a software application to enable the user to modify, control, or otherwise regulate any mode of operation or other feature of the lighting system.

Abstract: A lighting module is shown and described having a housing with an opening therethrough. A forward portion of the opening may be enclosed by a cap and a rearward portion of the opening may be enclosed by a transparent media. A second media may extend from the opening through a wall of the housing. The cap may be securable to a bar via a mounting apparatus. A PCBA with one or more operational groups of LEDs may be secured within the opening, such that light may be emitted through the media. A second PCBA with one or more operational groups of LEDs may be secured within the opening, such that light may be emitted through the second media. Each operational group may be integrated with a control system of a vehicle, and may be operated individually or collectively. Each operational group may correspond to similar or different colors of light.
