Abstract: A method and assembly for manufacturing ingestible products from liquids and soft-solid ingestible matters, the method including the steps of hard freezing the liquid or soft-solid ingestible matter, granulating the hard-frozen ingestible matter, and thereafter either (1) placing the hard-frozen granules in a mold and molding a single hard-frozen product, or (2) drying the granules and packaging same for subsequent molding or transporting or use.

Abstract: A method for demolding a body of frozen confection encased in a flexible disposable mold includes the steps of slicing the mold, applying heat to the mold sufficient to soften a surface portion of the body of confection to permit the mold to slip from the body, directing gas into the slit mold to open the mold and to separate the mold from the body, and applying suction to the mold to pull the mold free of the body. The invention further includes an assembly for effecting the method, the assembly including a slicer, a heater, a blower, and a suction device.

Abstract: An edible frozen confection food product and method comprises providing an elongated core of frozen confection and an elongated edible receptacle for receiving and retaining the core. The receptacle comprises a cake-like bun having first and second portions in part separated from one another to form a generally channel-shaped pocket, but joined. The core is disposed in the pocket and occupies a portion of the pocket less than a whole of the pocket.
