Abstract: Various embodiments include a method for operating a hazard notification system including a plurality of notification appliances connected to a bus system, each notification appliance having a signal element and an activatable energy consumption simulation unit comprising: receiving a switchover telegram at each notification appliance; attaching the respective energy consumption simulation unit of each notification appliance to the bus system in place of the signal element; measuring an energy consumption resulting in the bus system due to the activation of each energy consumption simulation unit in the course of a load test; comparing the measured energy consumption with predefined comparison values; and generating an alarm signal or a fault message as a function of the result of the comparison.

Abstract: In a method for setting the floor associations of a plurality of operating units of an elevator installation, a plurality of operating units is distributed over a plurality of floors. These floors can be traveled to by an elevator car having a transmitter unit. In the method, the elevator car is moved to a predetermined one of the floors. The operating unit allocated to the moved-to floor is activated. The position data describing the floor at which the operating unit is located are communicated from the transmitter unit to the operating unit and/or to a central control unit. The position data are stored in a memory unit of the operating unit and/or in the central control unit.

Abstract: A draw-roll assembly is movable downwardly on guide rods from a working position into a filament take-up position. A slightly heavier counter weight connected with the draw-roll assembly by means of a cable ensures that the draw-roll assembly stays in the upper position even upon failure of a pneumatic control and also that the movement forces are limited substantially to the difference between the weights. An electro-pneumatic control controls the movement speed of the draw-roll assembly from the filament take up position into the working position.
