    Abstract: An artificial palm tree assembly for insertion into a table, preferably a patio table, is provided. The artificial palm tree assembly comprises a palm head comprising a crown element and a plurality of tree elements attached to the crown element of the palm head. Each of the tree elements comprises a branch having a plurality of artificial palm tree leaves thereon. In addition, the artificial palm assembly further comprises a trunk element adapted for installation through an opening in the top of the table. The palm head connects to the trunk element via an attachment formed between a bottom area of the crown element and the top end of the trunk element. Moreover, artificial palm assembly preferably further comprises a base portion for providing support for the palm head and the trunk element of the palm tree assembly installed within the patio table.

The trunk element of the tree assembly is preferably formed of two parts—an upper part and a lower part. The upper part is adapted to have at least a portion thereof be raised or lowered out of the lower part to adjust the height of the tree for patio table heights and this accommodate the tree assembly for use with any patio table. The lighting can be string lighting and can be LED lights, miniature lights or spotlights (near or at the top of the tree trunk).

    Abstract: A light display power box receives a string of clear and a string of colored lights thereby displaying clear and colored lights simultaneously to form selected light display patterns. The light display power box includes a plurality of outlets for receiving at least one string of clear lights and at least one string of colored lights. Additionally, the light display power box includes electronic circuitry including a microprocessor programmed to receive, process, and use received command signals to program selected light patterns. In one embodiment, a remote control transmitter transmits wireless command signals associated with selected light patterns to a sensor unit housed within or in proximity to the light display power box.

The system includes a lighting string having wired branches of various lengths, small light bulbs fixed to these branches, colored globes with the sleeve shaped openings and connecting members connecting the light bulbs inside of the globes. This decorative ornament includes a sleeve or cup for looping the lighting string therein and an elastic loop of material threaded and connected through and an opening in the sleeve from which the ornament can be hung.

The connecting members have external elements for engaging internal lip in the sleeve shaped opening of the globe and internal rib members for engaging and securing the light bulb in place within the connecting member.
