  • Publication number: 20170202426
Abstract: A dishwasher, in particular a domestic dishwasher, includes a washing compartment for accommodating items to be washed, a container delimiting the washing compartment, a pump for circulating washing liquid in the container, a wash program control apparatus for executing at least one wash program and for activating the pump, and at least one optical detector connected to the wash program control apparatus for optically detecting at least one compartment section or segment of the washing compartment. The wash program control device adjusts the wash program based on the state in the washing compartment detected by the optical detector. The optical detector is rotatably mounted inside the container so that different compartment sections or segments of the washing compartment are detected by the optical detector in dependence on or as a function of the position and/or the location of the optical detector.

  • Patent number: 9270115
Abstract: A domestic appliance includes an internal electrical load, a controller for controlling the internal electrical load, and a communication device coupled with the controller. The controller is configured for transmitting via the communication device data to additional domestic appliances, wherein the received data include information about a time of an impending startup of the internal electrical load, and/or for receiving via the communication device data from additional domestic appliances, wherein the received data include information about a time of an impending startup of an electrical load of an additional domestic appliance. The internal electrical load is controlled based on the received information, preventing an overload of the power supply system.

  • Publication number: 20080123556
Abstract: A method and a circuit carry out initialization/registration steps for a device, in particular a household appliance, which can be connected to a network. The first initialization/registration of the device is controlled by adding an initialization signal on the actuation of a mechanical circuit device and wherein an address clearly identifying the device in the network is allocated to the device for initialization/registration. In order to carry out the initialization/registration, a control state signal which corresponds to circuit state of circuit device is stored in a flag memory which is associated with the device after the first initialization/registration of the device; after stopping and then restarting the device in the network, the adjusting state of the circuit device is compared to the memory state of the flag memory which corresponds to a determined combination function.
