  • Patent number: 6484915
Abstract: A transport container holder has a holding frame which is releasably engaged in a fastening frame forming a passthrough to the trunk of a motor vehicle. An actuating member pulls the tractive element which engages a pair of locking bars on opposite limbs of the fastening frame against springs which are attached at the other ends of the locking bar so that pins of the locking bars release the holding frame.

  • Patent number: 6416105
Abstract: A cover has a roll-up housing mounted in a motor vehicle at a front end of its cargo space, a sheet retractable against spring force out of the housing and having a rear edge, and a stiff end board projecting generally a full width of the sheet at the rear edge thereof and having a front edge juxtaposed with the sheet rear edge. A thick edge bar is fixed to one of the edges and the other of the edges is releasably secured to this edge bar.

  • Patent number: 6398284
Abstract: A transport container for a motor vehicle having a partition between two compartments has a generally rectangular vehicle frame set in the partition and a generally rectangular device frame fittable in the opening of the vehicle frame. Respective pivot formations on the vehicle frame define a pivot axis parallel to and between vehicle-frame upper and lower members. Respective pivot formations on the device frame between and parallel to device-frame upper and lower members and fittable to the respective vehicle-frame pivot formations allow pivoting of the device frame into a mounted position set in the vehicle frame with the members of the device frame closely juxtaposed with the respective members of the vehicle frame and the frames in direct contact with each other at abutment locations offset from the axis. A latch offset from the axis releasably secures the device frame in the mounted position in the vehicle frame.

  • Patent number: 5632520
Abstract: A motor vehicle having a passenger compartment provided with pair of passenger seats and a luggage compartment behind the seats and having a floor has a cargo-restraining apparatus provided with a support defining a horizontal pivot axis at the floor in the luggage compartment immediately behind the seats. A rigid panel has an inner edge pivoted at the pivot axis on the support and an outer edge and has oppositely directed faces extending between the edges. The panel is movable between an erect position in which it is substantially vertical with its outer edge level with upper ends of the seats and a recumbent position lying on the floor with one of its faces directed upward and forming a cargo-support surface in the luggage compartment. An elongated housing on the panel normally contains a flexible retaining sheet that is extensible from the housing to restrain cargo in the luggage compartment.

  • Patent number: 5599054
Abstract: An apparatus for storing and transporting elongated objects in a motor vehicle has a box having a floor and a plurality of sides together defining a chamber. The box is adapted to be secured with the floor horizontal in a motor vehicle. An open annular frame hinged on one of the sides is displaceable between a down position lying on the box and an up position standing transversely up from the box. A sleeve-like bag or container has a closed end and an opposite open end secured to the frame. The container is collapsible into a compacted condition and fittable in a stowed position when in the compacted condition in the chamber. A cover fits over the box to close the chamber and contain the frame when in the down position of the frame and the stowed position of the container. The cover is mounted on the box by an attachment allowing the cover to move on the box independently from and relative to the frame.

  • Patent number: 4533373
Abstract: For the purification of hydrocarbon-containing, e.g., methane raw gases containing H.sub.2 S and CO.sub.2, the raw gas is dried, and separated by rectification into a hydrocarbon-rich overhead fraction containing some H.sub.2 S and CO.sub.2 and into a bottom fraction consisting essentially of H.sub.2 S and CO.sub.2. The overhead product is freed, in a first scrubbing column, of the acidic components with a physical acting scrubbing medium selective for H.sub.2 S and COS as against CO.sub.2, e.g., polyethylene glycol ether or toluene. The bottom product from the rectification step is vaporized and selectively desulfurized in a second scrubbing column with the same scrubbing medium, and the scrubbed gas from the second scrubbing column is discharged as CO.sub.2 under pressure.
