  • Patent number: 8720718
Abstract: A foldable carrying case is described that has an integrated one-piece body of hingeably connected panels, and flexible gussets hingeably connected to the panels. The body is further provided with releasable fasteners. The body converts from a plane configuration to a container configuration, and vice versa. The container configuration is formed by folding the panels and the gussets, and the panels and gussets are connected by the releasable fasteners to prevent the container from unfolding. Also described is a method for making and using such a foldable carrying case. Also described is a kit including such a foldable carrying case and at least one storage container.

  • Patent number: 7277915
Abstract: In a mobile device operating on a wireless network, one of multiple selectable proxies and its corresponding protocol stack are selected, to proxy a request and response, based on the application making the request. Connection information for each available proxy is stored in a configuration store. The application requests a Net Proxy object for the particular proxy and protocol stack to be used. The Net Proxy object contains a subset of the stored connection information specific to the particular proxy. An HttpAction object is then created for the request, and the Net Proxy object is linked to the HttpAction object. The HttpAction object is provided to a request manager, which dispatches the request to an appropriate protocol stack, based on the content of the net Proxy object linked to the HttpAction object, which causing the request to be sent to the selected proxy.

  • Publication number: 20030012020
Abstract: A light assembly for a padlock including a housing that snaps onto said padlock and having a notch that engages a fixed leg of the shackle of the lock and a hole through which the free leg of the shackle extends when it enters the case of the padlock. This arrangement prevents pilfering the device when the lock is closed. A battery, switch and LED lamp are encased by plastic molding into the housing wall. The light is positioned to illuminate the keyhole area or tumbler area of the lock. The device is adaptable to either a otart or tumbler style combination padlock.

  • Patent number: 4624539
Abstract: A portable mirror device for rear view observation in a motor vehicle or the like has a mirror device connected to an end of an adjustment arm by a ball-and-socket type joint, while an opposite end of the adjustment arm is swivally connected to a mounting arrangement comprised of a spring clip, having a pair of clip members connected by a spring member, the spring member biasing the clip members towards a position wherein holding ends of the clip members engage each other. A suction cup device that is fastened to a second end of one of the clip members. The provision of two different types of mounting mechanisms and pivot arrangements at opposite ends of the adjustment arm produce a very versatile portable mirror device that can be mounted to any of a large number of different elements and utilized in a large number of different orientations. The device is also constructed so as to minimize problems resulting from vehicle vibrations, road shocks and the like.

  • Patent number: 4100503
Abstract: Apparatus for indicating whether a correlation tracking system such as a phase-locked-loop has locked onto a periodic signal or not, utilizing a quadri-correlation circuit and digitalizers for the in-phase and the quadrature correlation signals, and logic circuitry for detecting the direction of transitions in the output state combinations of the digitalizers, and for adding the detector output signal rates for obtaining lock.
