  • Publication number: 20240153205
Abstract: While a representation of a three-dimensional environment is visible via the first display generation component, a computer system, displays, via a second display generation component, one or more graphical elements that provide a visual indication of a status associated with a user who is in a position to view the representation of the three-dimensional environment, including changing the one or more graphical elements to represent changes in the status associated with the user. In response to detecting a first event that corresponds to the start of media capture using the computer system, the computer system displays, via the second display generation component, a first visual alert that indicates the start of media capture, wherein the first visual alert is displayed concurrently with at least a portion of the one or more graphical elements.

  • Publication number: 20240152245
Abstract: A computer system displays a first object that includes at least a first portion of the first object and a second portion of the first object and detects a first gaze input that meets first criteria, wherein the first criteria require that the first gaze input is directed to the first portion of the first object in order for the first criteria to be met. In response, the computer system displays a first control element that corresponds to a first operation associated with the first object, wherein the first control element was not displayed prior to detecting that the first gaze input met the first criteria, and detects a first user input directed to the first control element. In response to detecting the first user input directed to the first control element, the computer system performs the first operation with respect to the first object.

  • Patent number: 11954242
Abstract: A computer system presents first computer-generated content. While presenting the first computer-generated content, the computer system detects first movement of a first user in a physical environment, and in response: in accordance with a determination that the first movement changes a spatial relationship between the first user and a second user in the physical environment from a first spatial relationship to a second spatial relationship and that the change in spatial relationship meets first criteria, the computer system changes one or more output properties of the first computer-generated content; and in accordance with the determination that the first movement changes the spatial relationship from the first spatial relationship to the second spatial relationship and that the change in spatial relationship does not meet the first criteria, the computer system presents the first computer-generated content without changing the one or more output properties of the first computer-generated content.

  • Publication number: 20240103682
Abstract: A computer system displays a first application user interface at a first location in a three-dimensional environment. While displaying the first application user interface at the first location in the three-dimensional environment, the computer system detects, at a first time, a first input corresponding to a request to close the first application user interface. In response to detecting the first input corresponding to a request to close the first application user interface: the computer system closes the first application user interface, including ceasing to display the first application user interface in the three-dimensional environment; and, in accordance with a determination that respective criteria are met, the computer system displays a home menu user interface at a respective home menu position that is determined based on the first location of the first application user interface in the three-dimensional environment.

  • Publication number: 20240103615
Abstract: A computer system displays one or more graphical elements that represent a status associated with a user, including: at a first level of immersion, displaying the one or more graphical elements with a first appearance that is based on a first set of one or more visual properties and the status associated with the user; and at a second level of immersion, displaying the one or more graphical elements with a second appearance that is based on a second set of one or more visual properties and the status associated with the user. In response to detecting that first criteria for changing the current level of immersion are met, changing display of one or more virtual elements from the first level of immersion to the second level of immersion and changing display of the one or more graphical elements with the first appearance to the second appearance.

  • Publication number: 20240094866
Abstract: A computer system displays a first view of a user interface of a first application with a first size at a first position corresponding to a location of at least a portion of a palm that is currently facing a viewpoint corresponding to a view of a three-dimensional environment provided via a display generation component. While displaying the first view, the computer system detects a first input that corresponds to a request to transfer display of the first application from the palm to a first surface that is within a first proximity of the viewpoint. In response to detecting the first input, the computer system displays a second view of the user interface of the first application with a second size and an orientation that corresponds to the first surface at a second position defined by the first surface.

  • Patent number: 11875013
Abstract: A computer system detects a wrist. In accordance with a determination that first criteria that require an inner side of the wrist facing toward a viewpoint are met, the computer system displays a first user interface object including a plurality of representations of different applications at a first position corresponding to a first location on the wrist. While displaying the first user interface object, the computer system detects that the wrist's position or orientation has changed to satisfying second criteria that requires an outer side of the wrist facing toward the viewpoint. In response, the computer system switches from displaying the first user interface object at the first position to displaying a second user interface object including a plurality of controls for controlling functions at a second position corresponding to a location on a back of a hand attached to the wrist.

  • Publication number: 20240004513
Abstract: At a computer system, in response to detecting a respective user input: if the respective user input meets first criteria requiring the one or both hands of the user maintain a first grip while a first type of movement of the one or both hands is detected, the computer system moves a virtual object in a three-dimensional environment relative to the three-dimensional environment in accordance with the movement of the one or both hands in the three-dimensional environment; and if the respective user input meets second criteria requiring the one or both hands of the user maintain a second grip while a second type of movement of the one or both hands is detected, the computer system replaces the view of the three-dimensional environment corresponding to a first viewpoint with a view of the three-dimensional environment corresponding to a second viewpoint different from the first viewpoint.

  • Publication number: 20230418432
Abstract: An electronic device, while displaying a three-dimensional environment, including one or more virtual objects, detects gaze of a user directed toward a first virtual object in the three-dimensional environment. The gaze meets first criteria and the first virtual object is responsive to at least one gesture input. In response to detecting the gaze that meets the first criteria, in accordance with a determination that a hand is in a predefined ready state for providing gesture inputs, the electronic device displays an indication of one or more interaction options available for the first virtual object in the three-dimensional environment; and in accordance with a determination the hand is not in the predefined ready state for providing gesture inputs, the electronic device forgoes displaying the indication of one or more interaction options available for the first virtual object.
