  • Publication number: 20230309761
Abstract: A single piece tissue container free of a plastic film or paper dispensing window comprising a tissue dispensing portion on a top panel of the tissue container, the tissue dispensing portion comprising: (a) an outlet cut line having a wave shape form; (b) two opposite raised crease lines embossed on the top panel spaced on both left and right side of the outlet cut line, the two opposite raised crease lines being joined by curvilinear cut lines at each end of the two opposite raised crease lines; and (c) two outlet flaps, each outlet flap being defined between one of the two raised crease lines, the curvilinear cut lines and the outlet cut line, each of the two raised crease lines forming a smooth curve on an underside of the outlet flaps.

  • Patent number: 6851243
Abstract: Elements are provided to erect a female blanking die for a die cutting machine for die cutting and/or blanking a carton blank, as well as for erecting a combination male blanking die/female blanking die. The elements include the following specifically-described elements: jogger members; auxiliary adjustable support members; grid orientation cylinders; grid support brackets; template corner locking clamps; center line orientation cylinders; center line clamps; and rail connecting elements. The rail connecting elements serve to erect a rectangular framework for the universal press frame of the female blanking die wherein the front and the rear rails are disposed at a higher level than the side rails. Embodiments of jogger members are provided which are selectively-disposed along the internal perimeter of the rectangular framework for erecting the female blanking die, each such jogger member having a particularly-recited structure.

  • Patent number: 6520900
Abstract: Methods for setting-up a female blanking die for a die cutting machine for die cutting and/or blanking a carton blank, and universal press frames for use in such setting-up are all provided herein. The first stages in the erection of the female blanking die, which includes a rectangular framework of a front rail, a rear rail and two side rails, involve accurate placement of a template within the rectangular framework. All the rails are provided with a dovetail groove along its inside edges. This is achieved by the use of centre line orientation cylinders on a template, a centre line rod through aligned holes in the centre line orientation cylinders and centre line brackets at the precise centre point of the front and the rear rails. The template is mounted atop the centre line brackets by means of the centre line rod and rests loosely on template corner locking clamps.

  • Patent number: 6477930
Abstract: A female blanking die for a die cutting machine for die cutting and/or blanking a carton blank, as well as a male blanking die/female blanking die combination, and methods of producing them, and elements constituting essential integers thereof, are all provided herein. The male blanking die/female blanking die combination includes a specifically-configured male stripping die. Such male stripping die includes a template having a particularly-specified perimeter, the template including a plurality of foam plastic pads which are removably secured to the undersurface of the template, the template being accurately secured at a predetermined position to the underface of a movable upper plate of the blanking station of the die cutting machine. The male blanking die/female blanking die combination also includes a specifically-configured female blanking die.

  • Patent number: 6085625
Abstract: A novel steel rule die system is provided herein. Such system includes an upper, dimensionally-stable plate (e.g., of steel) which has been laser cut in a series of primary main kerfs. It also includes an intermediate plate of a synthetic plastic material having the property of elastic deformability, e.g., LEXAN.TM., or LUCITE.TM.. The intermediate plate has been laser cut in a series of secondary main kerfs, those secondary main kerfs being originally identical to the series of primary main kerfs, but, in addition, including, in at least one, and preferably in each, of the secondary main kerfs, at least one region which includes an interference kerf. The interference kerf is laterally-offset from a longitudinally-extending axis of the secondary main kerf, and is of substantially the same width as the secondary main kerf and is in direct communication with the secondary main kerf.

  • Patent number: 5520080
Abstract: A novel system for mounting a die on a base is provided. Such a die/die mounting system combination includes a die, the die having a fixed countersunk aperture adjacent one lateral edge thereof, and having a countersunk aperture longitudinally-locatable within a longitudinally-extending slot adjacent an opposite lateral edge thereof. It also includes a pair of indexing nuts, each indexing nut including (i) a nut element provided with a geometrically-shaped head and a depending stub, at least the stub being pierced by an internally-threaded hole, and (ii) an indexing element having an upper externally-threaded shaft, a geometrically-shaped waist and a depending indexing portion, the depending indexing portion including an upper cylindrical end and a lower frusto-conical end. One such indexing nut is secured within the die with the stub of the nut element within the countersunk fixed aperture and with the indexing element firmly threaded into the internally-threaded hole.
