    Abstract: Polyester films containing 0.2 to 0.9% by weight of filler particles having a nominal particle size of 2 to 10 .mu.m and a hardness of 2.5 to 7 on the moh scale are suitable for the production of slot liners and closures. The films have improved resistance to fibrillation or delamination and tearing during the formation of the slot liners and closures and improved slip properties to promote their insertion into electrical stators and rotors.
