  • Patent number: 5419519
Abstract: A device for guiding a cable around a corner formed at the intersection of two angularly related walls so as to avoid damage to the cable wherein the device has first surfaces for overlying the walls and opposite generally planar second surfaces and wherein a guiding surface projects outwardly from each of the second surfaces and wherein the first guiding surface turns the cable ninety degrees from a first direction to a second direction and holds the cable against the second surface and the second guiding surface turns the cable ninety degrees from the second direction to a third direction and holds the cable against the second surface and wherein the first direction lies generally in a plane parallel to one of the second surfaces and the third direction lies generally in a plane parallel to the other of the second surfaces and the second direction is superposed over the intersection of the second surfaces and spaced equidistantly from each of the planes of the planar surfaces thereof.

  • Patent number: 5350267
Abstract: A system for attaching a rod, pipe or tube to a support surface in a spaced relationship thereto using plastic mounting devices, each of which has a central body portion, integral spaced apart leg portions and an inner arcuate surface greater than 180 degrees and having terminal end portions spaced from end surfaces of the leg portion, in an automated process wherein the leg portions are restrained from pivotal movement relative to the central body portion so that the portions of the mounting device adjacent to the terminal end portions will deform as they move over the rod, pipe or tube and then resile to move the rod, pipe or tube into the inner arcuate surfaces.

  • Patent number: 5176870
Abstract: Apparatus and method for forming a three dimensional injection molded article having a pair of passageways extending therethrough with a locking indentation in each passagway using first and second mold parts each having open ended cavities having an end wall and a plurality of sidewalls formed therein wherein a pair of fixed arms are mounted on the end wall of the first mold part so that they are spaced from each other and each of the sidewalls have portions extending out of the open ended cavity and have contoured surfaces and wherein a pair of movable arms are mounted on the end wall of the second mold part for rotation about fixed axes and are spaced from each other and from each of the sidewalls and wherein each movable arm has a contoured surface adapted to be moved into a continuous contacting relationship with the contoured surface of one of the fixed arms and when in the contacting relationship to provide protruding portions to form said locking indentations.

  • Patent number: 5064231
Abstract: A uni-directional lock having a body portion having two passageways extending therethrough and each having an internal indentation, an entrance portion and an exit portion and a link portion having an enlarged head portion and two integral leg portions each having a flexible portion having a hook projecting outwardly therefrom wherein the hook and the exit portion are dimensioned to prevent entry of the hook through the exit portion into the body portion or the flexible portion comprises two separate sections or the flexible portion is provided with structure so that it is frangible to form two separate sections.

  • Patent number: 5057000
Abstract: Apparatus for forming molded products and providing each product with identifying indicia in sequence during the molding operation using at least two mold parts forming a plurality of molding cavities with an identification forming apparatus as an integral part of each of the cavities, each of the identification forming apparatuses having a plurality of rotatable members, each of which has a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart indicium forming members each of which is different and moving at least one of the rotatable members one increment to the next identifying indicium during each molding cycle.

  • Patent number: 4801064
Abstract: Interlocking means are provided on the front and rear surfaces of adjacent clips to restrain relative movement between adjacent clips in one direction and to permit relative guided movement between adjacent clips in another direction and wherein the restraint of the relative movement is maintained for at least a substantial portion of the movement of the one of the adjacent clips toward a secured position on the support surface. Also, each clip has at least one bore means having first and second cross-sectional configurations so as to provide a shoulder and a surface penetrating fastening device having an enlarged head portion located in the bore means so that, when a force is applied to the surface penetrating fastening device to drive the surface penetrating fastening device into the support surface, the enlarged head will contact the shoulder so that the clip is firmly held in position on the support surface.
