Publication number: 20240109010Abstract: A method of filtration in a process vessel using a treated filter media which has been treated with a conditioner for improved filtration of contaminants is provided. The treated filter media can be used in process vessels for refining, petrochemical, and chemical plants to treat process streams. The conditioner can be the same material as what is expected to be captured during the fouling process. In other words, the conditioner that is added to the treated filter media can be the same material as the contaminant in the fluid stream to be treated. This allows for chemical compatibility with an existing process fluid stream. This also allows for the natural continuation of the filtration process.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 2, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Applicant: CRYSTAPHASE PRODUCTS, INC.Inventors: BRADLEY GLOVER, AUSTIN SCHNEIDER, JEFFREY SCOTT OLIVER, PETER GREGORY HAM

Publication number: 20240066484Abstract: Process vessels can contain one or more entry zones containing stability-improving materials. The entry zones address bed movement and filtration problems. The stability-improving material can be positioned above a treating zone or above a processing bed within the vessel. Entry Zones are intended to improve the stability of downstream operations.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 6, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Applicant: Crystaphase Products, Inc.Inventors: BRADLEY GLOVER, AUSTIN SCHNEIDER, JOHN N. Patent number: 11735912Abstract: Systems, methods, and processor-readable storage media for AI-assisted electrical power grid fault analysis predict the cause of a fault and cause the fault to be remedied by receiving an indication that a first fault has occurred, identifying a plurality of additional fault records associated with the first fault, obtaining a first prediction of the cause of the fault based on the first fault record and the plurality of fault records by applying the fault records to a machine learning model, obtaining a second prediction of the cause of the fault by applying the fault records to a rules-based model, and obtaining a final prediction of the cause of the first fault based on the first prediction and the second prediction. The final prediction of the cause of the first fault is used to cause the predicted cause of the first fault to be remedied.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 2022Date of Patent: August 22, 2023Assignee: QUALITROL COMPANY LLCInventors: Aaron Acton, Peter Glover, Mark Diamond, Peter Brett, David Cole, Paul Donegan

Publication number: 20230036218Abstract: Systems, methods, and processor-readable storage media for AI continued learning in electrical power grid fault analysis use historical fault record data to generate a fault cause prediction model for predicting the cause of a fault, and modify the fault cause prediction model based on additional technician data received from power grid technicians. The systems disclosed herein additionally receive an indication of a fault which has occurred in a power grid, obtain a prediction of the cause of the fault by applying the indication of the fault to the fault cause prediction model, and cause the predicted cause of the fault to be remedied.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 27, 2022Publication date: February 2, 2023Inventors: Aaron Acton, Peter Glover, Mark Diamond, Peter Brett, David Cole, Paul Donegan

Publication number: 20190338702Abstract: An engine includes an engine shaft and a piston configured to reciprocate within a cylinder chamber having an axis, each piston having an first piston part and piston stem to move in unison with or separately from a second piston part to define piston strokes for different thermal functions of the engine. The engine further includes a linkage assembly having a first end coupled to the engine and a second end coupled to the piston stem defining a copy point, an actuator that engages the linkage assembly, and a guide cam that engages a guide cam follower on the linkage assembly. The actuator and the guide cam are operable to control motion of the linkage assembly to thereby define substantially linear movement of the copy point along the cylinder chamber axis.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 30, 2017Publication date: November 7, 2019Applicant: Yan Engines, Ltd.Inventors: Hailuat D. Patent number: 10130072Abstract: Game feeding systems and methods are disclosed for feeding of large, medium, and small game such as bear, deer, and turkey. The system may be provided in a single configuration or configured for conversion between two or more configurations for use with various game. In one configuration, a feeder portion rests on the ground secured to an immovable object such as a tree. In another configuration, a feeder portion is elevated from ground by removable legs. In another configuration, a feeder portion is hung from a fixed overhead structure. A controller manages a spin plate for the distribution of game feed. Game may access feed through access holes in a feeder portion or from the ground after falling through a feeding grate in an extended configuration. A wheeled transport portion may be used for transporting a feeder portion to predetermined locations using tow capable vehicles such as an UTV.Type: GrantFiled: November 8, 2016Date of Patent: November 20, 2018Assignee: BISTRO OUTDOORS LLCInventor: Peter Glover
