  • Patent number: 10058482
Abstract: The invention relates to a transfer device for tapping or delivering a fluid from a bottle sealed with a closure, the device having a hollow cylinder-shaped first part having a circumferential wall, which first part can be placed on the bottle and surrounds the closure, a hollow cylinder-shaped second part which can be adjusted with respect to the first part, the second part having a first wall running transverse to the longitudinal axis direction, and a puncturing needle originating from the first wall and extending in the direction of the first part permitting piercing of the closure, wherein the first part cannot be adjusted axially with respect to the second part if the closure is not surrounded and, if the first part surrounds the closure, the first part can be adjusted with respect to the second part for piercing the closure.

  • Patent number: 5805045
Abstract: The power supply conductor of a power transformer with foil winding is formed with a plurality of flag-shaped end pieces at one end due to slots running in the longitudinal direction of the foil, which flag-shaped end pieces are folded to form a stack kinked in relation to the longitudinal direction of the foil. The flag-shaped, folded end pieces of the conductor stack must be insulated at least in the area of the edge of the unslotted foil from one another, for example, using insulating foils.

  • Patent number: 5261772
Abstract: A device to detachably connect two, e.g., plate-shaped subassemblies, includes a control element with a projecting retaining portion which can be inserted into aligned openings of the subassemblies and with a head portion to be braced against the first subassembly. The projecting retaining portion has at least one lateral first recess to receive and engage with at lest one locking element of a holding element. The locking element yields flexibly and resiliently when inserting the control element into the holding element. The holding element also has expanding elements to brace against a rear side of the second subassembly. Both the control element and the holding element can be inserted individually in succession or together from a front side of the first subassembly into the aligned openings. The holding element with the expanding elements can be inserted into the openings.

  • Patent number: 4037124
Abstract: A cooling arrangement for the rotor of an electric machine with longitudinal slots having disposed therein exciter winding sections which must be cooled to a low temperature, the arrangement having a feed and discharge line, in which a multiplicity of individual cooling canals running in the circumferential direction and a multiplicity of individual radial coolant feed lines and/or discharge lines are provided for each winding section over its axial length so that the cooling arrangement can be optimized with regard to the thermodynamic pressure losses of the coolant, its temperature rise and the heat transfer conditions while at the same time achieving a favorable space factor of the conductor material within the slots.

  • Patent number: 3984715
Abstract: This invention concerns an improvement in a fluid contact arrangement employed in a DC machine. The invention provides a contact fluid which is interposed between the rotor and the stator of the machine. The fluid is ferromagnetic. Further, the invention provides a magnetic field which is directed perpendicular to the air gap. The effect of the magnetic field on the ferromagnetic contact fluid is such that the fluid is retained within the gap both when the rotor is at a standstill and when it operates at its normal speed.
