  • Patent number: 4146066
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of introducing reaction mixtures for single-component foams into pressure containers. The reaction mixture comprises at least two reaction components and a blowing agent and is formed in an injection mixing head. The reaction mixture is then introduced into an evacuated pressure bottle provided with a valve. Additional pure blowing agent is added via the injection mixhead subsequent to the introduction of the reaction mixture into the pressure container.

  • Patent number: 4072788
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of insulating elements for the walls and ceilings, made from facing layers fitted to a frame. Between the facing layers, a perforated foam-permeable, optionally reinforced, intermediate layer is inserted. One of the two chambers thus formed is subsequently filled with foam. The other chamber is filled with a foam permeated granular material.

  • Patent number: 3951717
Abstract: A process is provided for the continuous production of a laminated product having a foam core between two substantially impermeable cover sheets one of which has longitudinally extending, transversely spaced inwardly directed recesses therein wherein a porous web is placed over the sheet having the recesses and a foamable liquid reaction mixture is poured over the web whereby only a part of the foamable reaction mixture passes through the web into the recesses.

  • Patent number: 3931098
Abstract: Means for producing fiber-reinforced foam plastic webs, panels, sandwich panels and the like from continuous rovings and a foam reaction mixture. Rovings are incorporated into a foam product or core by means of an air nozzle coupled to and adjustable in its position to the nozzle of a mixing head for ejecting the foam reaction mixture.
