  • Patent number: 11123978
Abstract: A processing machine, in particular a printing machine, includes a unit having a storage container. The storage container comprises a roller and a base which delimit the storage chamber for a medium. One or more sliders are arranged along the edge of the base to form, together with the roller, an outlet gap for the medium. In the region of the one or more sliders, pneumatic means are provided to seal the supply chamber with respect to the medium. A method for operating such a processing machine is also disclosed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 7, 2018
Date of Patent: September 21, 2021
    Assignee: KOENIG & BAUER AG
Inventors: Detlev Pforte, Lutz Halbach, Jan Teller, Peter Jentzsch

  • Patent number: 7765930
Abstract: A method is used to set a contact pressure between a displaceable roller and another roller or for moving the displaceable roller with respect to the other roller. At least one actuator is subjectible to the action of a pressure medium and presses the displaceable roller toward the other roller with an adjustable force. The pressure of the pressure medium can be adjusted by a valve. A switchover device is provided for use in connecting the valve to different actuators, as desired.

Date of Patent: August 3, 2010
    Assignee: Koenig & Bauer Aktiengesellschaft

  • Patent number: 7077061
Abstract: A printing group, which includes at least one rotation element, that can be rotated about its longitudinal direction, and than can also be displaced axially, includes a drive. That drive for the rotational element can be a drive motor which is independent of the drive of the printing group cylinders. The drive can be effected through a rotationally fixed and coaxially linked drive wheel, and a flexible drive. In order to achieve a lateral travel of the rotational element, the printing group is provided with a supplementary drive motor.
