  • Patent number: 7648719
Abstract: Method for oxygen treatment of liquid unsaturated carbon compounds with carbon number between 6 and 26 wherein the material is placed in a reaction chamber (11), a mixture ozone and oxygen is passed through the material, and by controlling the flow rate of the gas mixture through the material the temperature of the reaction is controlled to remain below a predetermined maximum value being 100° C. As a result of the reaction a novel material is obtained which has an epoxy-structure, has a higher density and smaller viscosity than the starting material, it has excellent burning properties and can be used as a limited rate source of oxygen. The apparatus for carrying of the method comprises an oxygen source, and ozonizer (6), a reaction chamber (11) for containing the liquid starting material, a gas pump (13) for removing the gas from the reaction chamber, and a temperature control system.

  • Patent number: 6280032
Abstract: Method for detecting color vision deficiencies of a subject by determining his or her spectral sensitivity curve, wherein the spectral sensitivity curve is determined by critical fusion frequency spectral scanning at predetermined discrete narrow bands of wavelengths, preferably being blue, green, orange and red. The compensation of the color vision deficiency occurs by using a compensation color determined on the basis of differences between a standard sensitivity curve and the measured one. In each wavelength where such differences are experienced, the intensity of the light source generating that wavelength is increased or decreased in accordance with the extent and sign of the difference, and the compensation color is obtained by illuminating all light sources.

  • Patent number: 6139876
Abstract: A gelatin with increased oxygen content for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and/or veterinary use. The gelatin comprises a gelling agent and a solvent, furthermore oxygen in a substantially even distribution with a pressure exceeding normal atmospheric pressure, wherein the surface tension of the gelatin is sufficiently high to retain at least a portion of the overpressure of the oxygen throughout a predetermined period of time after having been exposed ton atmospheric environment. Glucose and bactericide and/or fungicide agents can be added to facilitate cellular metabolism and decrease the danger of local infections. The solvent can be distilled water or a physiologic saline solution.

  • Patent number: 5010452
Abstract: A therapeutic lamp for biostimulation with polarized light, which comprises a light source with a power substantially between 30W and 300W, a reflector with a rotational paraboloid light reflecting surface arranged behind the light source so that the focal point substantially coincides with the point source, a polarizer arranged in the path to generate polarized output light which has a cross-section of at least 100 cm.sup.2. The lamp further comprises a first tube with a first axis coinciding with axis of rotation of the paraboloid surface, the reflector with the light source is fixed in the first tube so that a sealed connection is provided therebetween, a second tube with a second axis which closes an angle between 110.degree. and 120.degree. with the first axis, the tubes have substantially equal and circular cross-sections and are attached to each other to form an integral housing.
