  • Patent number: 11400229
Abstract: Drug delivery system comprising expelling means for expelling an amount of drug from a reservoir, the expelling means comprising dose setting means (11, 21, 122) allowing a user to set a dose to be expelled, and actuation means (123) for releasing the drug expelling means to expel the set dose. The dose setting means comprises a drive sleeve (22) adapted to be rotated to set a dose, and a rotatable driven member (21) arranged for being rotationally driven by the drive sleeve (22) in a slaved rotational movement by means of a torque transfer coupling between the drive sleeve (22) and the rotatable driven member (21). The system further comprises an electronically controlled capturing system for capturing data representing a property related to the amount of drug expelled from the reservoir by the expelling means, and switch means configured to initiate an action within the electronically con-trolled capturing system upon occurrence of the slaved rotational movement.

  • Patent number: 10105497
Abstract: Drug delivery system comprising a housing and expelling means with a first rotational member adapted to rotate relative to the housing corresponding to a set and/or expelled dose and comprising a first force transmitting surface, a second rotational member adapted to rotate relative to the housing corresponding to a set and/or expelled dose and comprising a second force transmitting surface. At least portions of the first and second force transmitting surfaces are adapted to engage each other during setting and/or expelling of a dose, and the first rotational member including the force transmitting surface is formed from a polymeric material containing magnetic particles, wherein the polymeric material having been magnetized to provide a magnet producing a magnetic spatial field. Hereby a spatial magnetic field is generated which varies corresponding to the rotational movement of the first rotational member.

  • Patent number: 8257318
Abstract: The application disclosed concerns an injection device for apportioning set doses of a drug from a reservoir (40) to a subject. The injection device comprises a rotatable scale drum (50) which is screwed out from the proximal end of the injection device when a does is set. The rotatable scale drum (50) is coupled to a piston rod drive (100, 130) through a push button (30) and a connector pipe (80). When setting a does, the push button (30) engages the scale drum (50) such that both the push button (30) and the scale drum (50) rotate away from the housing (10). During injection, the scale drum (50) is released from the push button (30) and engaged with the connector pipe (80) in order to rotate the piston rod (120).
