  • Patent number: 11948781
Abstract: A processing system may include a plasma chamber operable to generate a plasma, and an extraction assembly, arranged along a side of the plasma chamber. The extraction assembly may include an extraction plate including an extraction aperture, the extraction plate having a non-planar shape, and generating an extracted ion beam at a high angle of incidence with respect to a perpendicular to a plane of a substrate, when the plane of the substrate is arranged parallel to the side of the plasma chamber.

  • Patent number: 7946290
Abstract: An underwater exhaust system and method which includes an exhaust valve having a sealing edge, an exhaust outlet for exiting an exhaust gas, and a projection for directing water flow away from the exhaust valve. The exhaust valve includes a valve head and a valve stem, the valve stem being coupled with the valve head. The system and method prevent a siphoning effect, whereby leakage of water into the exhaust valve is minimized or prevented.

  • Patent number: 7357134
Abstract: An underwater exhaust system includes an exhaust valve with a valve cover operatively coupled thereto. The valve cover is adapted to create an exhaled air pocket on the water interface side of the valve. The exhaled air pocket allows the valve to operate under reduced water resistance. The valve cover includes at least one water inlet passage and at least one exhaust gas opening.

  • Patent number: 7228633
Abstract: For use as a law enforcement weapon, a saber is provided having an elongated blade and a hilt affixed to one end thereof The blade has a triangular cross section including a pair of concave sides converging to a sharp common edge. The third side in opposed relation to the sharp edge is convex The blade is tapered along its length from the hilt end to a point. The handle is oval-shaped, conducive to orientation using the convex side of the blade in a battering mode or the sharp edge in a slashing mode.

  • Publication number: 20020179089
Abstract: A method and system for breathing gas heat exchange for use with an underwater pressurized gas source connected to a breathing apparatus comprising a length of tubing sufficient in diameter and length to allow heat exchange of expanding gas from the pressurized source to the breathing apparatus in order to substantially increase the temperature of the expanding gas. The tubing being made of a heat conducting material and being wholly unenclosed and open for contact with ambient fluid within which the method and system is used.
