  • Patent number: 11767064
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling movement of a mudflap hanger arm, to reliably return from a deflected position to a resting position, while providing improved manufacturability and reduced corrosion and wear through the use of guidance surfaces on a mounting plate and a frame seat that form the interface between the hanger arm and a vehicle frame. When the hanger arm pivots about an axis on one side of the mounting plate and frame seat, guidance surfaces on the opposite side are in contact or near-contact, preventing the mounting plate and frame seat from being laterally displaced or rotated with respect to each other. The improved mounting plate and frame seat can reduce or eliminate manufacturing operations such as welding, coating, etc., reducing the cost of the apparatus, while enhancing manufacturability and operation.

  • Patent number: 11743257
Abstract: An application-operating organization may delegate a third-party server to serve as an automated contextual authentication responder and an authorization responder. The third-party server may manage a delegated section of the organization's namespace that includes the public identities of various devices controlled by the organization. The third-party server may also dynamically generate interaction control list that is tailored to a requesting device's context based on the interaction control policies set forth by the organization. The interaction control list may include information that determines the authorization of the requesting device to interact with another device. The third-party server may also automatically determine the role of a new device to which existing policies are inapplicable and provide guided workflow for the organization to set up new interaction control policies in governing the new device.

  • Publication number: 20230255621
Abstract: Suture passer systems for tissue suspension and tissue compression, and more particularly for tongue suspension, are described. The system can include at least a first elongate tubular body or shaft, a needle having a lateral bias carried by the elongate body, and a retrieval element operably connected to the elongate tubular body. The needle can have a substantially straight configuration when located within the elongate tubular body, and be configured to exit an opening at or near a distal end of the elongate tubular body and assume a laterally biased or curved shape to form a path through tissue. The needle is configured to carry a suture. The retrieval element can be configured to retrieve the suture carried by the needle after the needle has formed a curved or otherwise angled path through tissue. The system can also include one or more bone anchors to secure the suture loops. Methods of placing one or more suture loops into tissue, such as the base of the tongue, are also described.

  • Publication number: 20230224334
Abstract: A DNS server receives from a receiving email system, a DNS query for an email domain stored at the DNS server, the DNS query including identifying information of a sender of an email. The DNS server extracts the identifying information of the email sender from the DNS query and identifies one of a plurality of delivering organizations from the information. The DNS server determines whether the identified delivering organization is authorized to deliver email on behalf of the email domain. In response to determining that the identified delivering organization is authorized to deliver email on behalf of the email domain, the DNS server generates a target validation record based on the identity of the authorized delivering organization and the email domain, the target validation record including one or more rules indicating to the receiving email system whether the delivering organization is an authorized sender of email for the email domain.

  • Patent number: 11695745
Abstract: A third-party server, delegated by organizations to manage application environment, may maintain a plurality of guided workflow plans. At least one of the guided workflow plans may include one or more steps associated with setting up an interaction control policy. The third-party server may receive an interaction report associated with the organization. The interaction report may include metadata of one or more devices that interacted with other devices. The third-party server may identify a particular device to which existing interaction control policies of the organization are inapplicable. The third-party server may search for additional out-of-band information of the particular device using the metadata in the interaction report. The third-party server may select an applicable guided workflow plan for setting up an applicable interaction control policy for the particular device. A guided workflow may be presented via a graphical user interface according to the applicable guided workflow plan.

  • Patent number: 11686618
Abstract: Disclosed are hyperspectral/multiple spectral imaging methods and devices. A method obtains first and second spectral image datasets of a region of interest (ROI). The first spectral image dataset is characterized by a first spectral range and the second spectral image dataset is characterized by a second spectral range. The method then performs a first spectral analysis on the first spectral image dataset and a second spectral analysis on the second spectral image dataset. Afterwards, the method determines one or more spectral signature(s) at a deeper layer of the ROI.

  • Publication number: 20230133528
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for predicting the potential for aggressive growth and/or the risk to progress to high grade cancer for tumors in cell based detection procedures. In one aspect the invention concerns the detection of overexpression of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor gene products as a tool for predicting the progression risk and/or potential for aggressive growth of tumors. In a second aspect the invention concerns predicting the progression risk and/or potential for aggressive growth in tumors on the basis of the simultaneous co-detection of the presence of overexpression of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor gene products together with the expression of markers for active cell proliferation. Further the invention concerns preparations of probes for diagnosis namely for predicting the progression risk and/or the potential for aggressive growth of tumors.

  • Publication number: 20230111456
Abstract: A server system receives a request to generate a playlist. The playlist includes a sequence of media items. The server system receives a plurality of constraints that define disqualification criteria for excluding media items from a respective slot in the sequence of media items. The plurality of constraints for the respective slot in the sequence of media items includes at least one constraint that is based on already-populated slots in the sequence of media items. The server system generates the playlist by sequentially populating each respective slot in the sequence of media items, including selecting, for the respective slot, a respective media item that meets the plurality of constraints for the respective slot in the sequence of media items. The server system provides the playlist to a user of the media providing service.

  • Patent number: 11607080
Abstract: A beverage container for a blender includes one or more vibrating mechanisms coupled to a bottom portion of the beverage container or integrated within one or more walls of the beverage container. After a beverage has been blended, the one or more vibrating mechanisms are activated as the beverage is being poured. Vibrations from the one or more vibrating mechanisms are mechanically transmitted to the beverage container, thereby promoting the pourability of the beverage from the beverage container, including dislodging ingredients in the beverage that became lodged or trapped in crevices of the beverage container during the prior blending process, and freeing up beverage ingredients that accumulated at the bottom of the beverage container during the prior blending process.

  • Patent number: 11582025
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing secure storage of data sets while enabling efficient deduplication of data. Each data set can be divided into fixed-length blocks. The plaintext of each block can be convergently encrypted, such as by using a hash of the plaintext as an encryption key, to result in block-level ciphertext that can be stored. If two data sets share blocks, the resulting block-level ciphertext can be expected to overlap, and thus duplicative block-level ciphertexts need not be stored. A manifest can be created to facilitate re-creation of the data set, which manifest identifies the block-level ciphertexts of the data set and a key by which each block-level ciphertext was encrypted. By use of block-level encryption, nearly identical data sets can be largely deduplicated, even if they are not perfectly identical.
