  • Patent number: 6665930
Abstract: A printed circuit board with SMD components electrically connected to the printed circuit board by means of a reflow soldering process. In order to provide the printed circuit board with connection elements which can be mounted at minimal cost, the printed circuit board is provided with one or more connection elements for making an electric connection to other electric components. These connection elements are journaled in recesses of the printed circuit board and do not project to the exterior via the surface of the printed circuit board on which the SMD components are secured.

  • Patent number: 6094359
Abstract: The invention relates to a HF housing comprising an arrangement for electrically interconnecting at least two HF conductor tracks (18, 19) which are formed on adjacent printed circuit boards (13, 15), which are separated from each other by a slit (17), and whose ends are situated opposite each other in the region of the slit. A simple way of interconnecting the conductor tracks (18, 19) situated opposite each other in the slit region is achieved in accordance with the invention by an auxiliary printed circuit board (20) which bridges the slit region and is pressed against the printed circuit boards (13, 15), the lower side of said auxiliary printed circuit board being provided with auxiliary contact bridges (21) in the region of the HF conductor tracks (18, 19) to be interconnected.

  • Patent number: 6094360
Abstract: An HF module, for example a tuner, is provided with a housing (10) and a printed circuit board (11) which is arranged in the housing and supports electrical components (12). To simplify the housing and to optimize the space utilization on the printed circuit board, the housing (10) is trough-shaped and closed with a lid (17),the printed circuit board (11) is fastened in the trough-shaped housing (10), andan electrically conductive insert (15) is provided which has contact tags (16) in locations corresponding to the ground connection points (14) of the printed circuit board (11) and which is connected to the ground connection points (14) of the printed circuit board (11) by means of these contact tags (16).

  • Patent number: 5886879
Abstract: The invention relates to a screening housing (10) for electrical components (11) arranged in the interior, which housing has a housing opening (13) which is closed with a lid (14) and which comprises a circumferential housing edge (15) which is flanged inwards, while outwardly projecting tongues (19) of the lid (14) defined by recesses (18) grip below inwardly extending projections (16) of the housing edge (15). To simplify such a screening housing construction, it is suggested thatthe tongues (19) of the lid (14) and the projections (16) of the housing edge (15) are arranged at two mutually opposed sides, the tongues (19) of the lid (14) lie in the same plane as the lid (14) itself, ledges (17) bent inwards and into a lower plane are provided for supporting the lid (14) next to the projections (16), andthe two edges (14a, b) of the lid (14) not having tongues (19) grip below the two corresponding housing edges (15c, d).
