Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a universal component interconnect express (UCIe) link that includes a mainband and a sideband. One or more pieces of logic may identify a data that is to be transmitted on the sideband. The logic may then identify, based on factors such as a characteristic of the data or a characteristic of the link, whether to transmit the data on the mainband. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Abstract: Card-handling devices may include a card-shuffling apparatus, a card output portion, and/or a card input portion. The card input portion may include a card rotation device. The card rotation device may be configured to receive and rotate cards about a minor axis of the cards. The card-handling device may include a card-shuffling apparatus including a carousel having at least one hundred compartments each configured to hold between one and ten cards and arranged radially about the carousel. The card-handling device may be positioned at a gaming structure with a playing surface. The card-handling device may include a card output portion for receiving shuffled cards from the card-shuffling apparatus. The card output portion may be configured to receive the cards where major faces of the playing cards are oriented in a plane substantially transverse to the playing surface.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are various bioreactor devices and systems for growing cellular material, and related methods of growing cellular material. In some cases, a system can include a well plate having a plurality of wells and a bioreactor situated in each well of the well plate. In some cases, a bioreactor can include an inner body which divides the bioreactor into several distinct chambers and facilitates the growth of a multi-tissue sample in the bioreactor. In some cases, a system can include a mechanical actuator situated to mechanically stress tissues grown in a bioreactor.

Abstract: Aspects herein include monitoring devices for filtration systems. An embodiment of the monitoring device can include a first fluid conduit and a first pressure sensor, wherein the first pressure sensor is in fluid communication with the first fluid conduit. The monitoring device can also include a second fluid conduit and a second pressure sensor, wherein the second pressure sensor is in fluid communication with the second fluid conduit. The monitoring device can also include a control circuit in electronic communication with the first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensor. The monitoring device can also include a housing, wherein the first pressure sensor, the second pressure sensor and the control circuit are all disposed within the housing. It may have an optimization module analyzing the proposals and informing the purchasing module if an opportunity exists for at least some of the shipments to be consolidated, in which case at least one contract awarded by the purchasing module is for a consolidated group of the shipments. It may have a contract administration module maintaining information relating to the status of proposals received and contracts awarded by the purchasing module. It may have a scheduling module scheduling shipments according to the awarded contracts.
