  • Publication number: 20050194114
Abstract: A belt conditioning method, apparatus and paper machine employing the method and apparatus are provided. The belt method and apparatus include multiple conditioning devices using chemicals to condition water impermeable surfaces of paper machine belts, such as transfer belts and prevent deposits from accumulating on the belts. In one embodiment, the belt supports a web at a first portion of the belt's loop and is separated from the web at a second portion. The conditioning apparatuses are placed in the second portion.

  • Publication number: 20040202152
Abstract: A system is provided for a remote user having access to a remote voice communication system at a first location to implement user-defined features in an integrated communications platform at a second location. The system includes a personal assistant (PA) for implementing user-defined features on the integrated communications platform, and an Internet-enabled appliance having a remote policy application (RPA) for communicating user authentication and location information to the personal assistant (PA) over the Internet. In response, the personal assistant (PA) establishes a voice connection over the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) between said the integrated communications platform and the remote voice communication system thereby enabling remote access to the user-defined features.

  • Patent number: 6464527
Abstract: A coaxial connector assembly is provided with first and second coaxial connectors. A tubular adaptor is threaded engaged with external threads on the first connector, and includes a locking groove in an outer circumferential surface. A lock body surrounds the second connector, and includes a mating end with a plurality of resiliently deflectable fingers. Each finger includes an inwardly projecting lock bead that engages the lock groove on the adaptor when the connectors are mated. The lock body further includes an annular lock groove in an outer surface. A locking ring surrounds the lock body and includes a forward end which surrounds the resilient fingers of the lock body. The locking ring further includes rearwardly extending fingers that releaseably engage the lock groove in the lock body. The locking ring can be moved between forward and rearward positions.
