    Abstract: A self-threading securing apparatus is used in combination with two tubular flow connectors to prevent the inadvertent disconnection of I.V. tubing sets. The securing apparatus includes a hollow shroud surrounding an extending cannula. The inner surface of the shroud includes interior threads for self-threading engagement with the resilient rolled-over exterior surface portion of the reseal connector.
