  • Publication number: 20240078294
Abstract: A system and method for creating secure software code. Original code is processed to determine memory states, which are dynamic during execution of the code. Selected functions of the code are duplicated and placed in parallel alternative control paths in order to create protected code with increased path diversity. The state of the memory, or a variable derived therefrom is used to select one of the alternative paths during execution of the protected code.

  • Patent number: 10145410
Abstract: The assembly includes a housing with an inner bore that extends along an axis. A stud is at least partially disposed in the inner bore of the housing and is pivotable relative to the housing. A top edge of the housing is bent radially inwardly to present a flange. A two-piece dust boot is provided including a cover piece of an elastic material and a spring washer. The cover piece extends from a first end portion that is sealed against the housing to a second end portion that is sealed against the stud. The spring washer is at least substantially encapsulated within the cover piece at the first end portion and biases the cover piece against the flange of the housing to establish a seal that is resistant to compression setting between the cover piece and the housing.

  • Patent number: 7494330
Abstract: The device serves to receive a tool for calibrating of workpieces (83), preferably workpieces manufactured by a powder metallurgical process. On the example shown the tool comprises the lower stamps (77, 78, 79) and the upper stamps (80, 81, 82) located on tool supports (31, 32, 33; 31?, 32?, 33?). These stamps may be moved up and down individually or together parallel to the axis (40). Also movable up and down is the tool support (41) on which, if required, a center pin (85) is mounted. The device is particularly suitable for the calibration of complicated workpieces, such as represented for example by the workpiece (83) having the form of a body of rotation.

  • Patent number: 5366363
Abstract: To form and compact a powdered metal workpiece (W) having an outer spiral circumference, for example a helical gear, the apparatus has a press mold (21) in a compaction press. This mold can be used for manufacture or for sizing or calibrating workpiece dimensions. A first rotatable and axially movable plunger, punch or ram (16) is movable towards the press mold, and a second rotatable or axially movable plunger or punch or ram (27) is movable through the press mold. To ensure and control rotation of the first (16) plunger, a helical cam system (13, 15) formed by a core element (15) having a spiral outer contour in engagement with a matrix or nut element (13) is provided, the system being coupled to the first plunger (16) by a gear transmission (11, 12) coupled to the matrix element and to the first plunger, punch or ram (16).
