  • Patent number: 4337922
Abstract: For pulling a heavy cable into a cable duct, cable holders of which the configuration is adapted to the cross-section of the cable duct are secured to the cables at regular spacings. The cable is pulled into the cable duct by means of a draw wire which is secured to the cable holders and/or to the cable. The draw wire is then anchored at both ends under a tensile stress. In this way, the cable itself is no longer subjected to a tensile stress when it is being pulled into place, and the cable is held at a spacing from the inside wall of the cable duct by means of the cable holders.
