    Abstract: A constant velocity universal ball joint (1) has an outer part (2), an inner part (6) received therein, and a cage (11) arranged between the outer part (2) and inner part (3) to guide balls (17) which serves to transmit torque between the outer part (2) and inner part (6). The balls (17) are guided between parallel window faces (15, 16) of the cage (11). To improve the service life values and the running-in conditions of the joint, balls (17) are used whose surface is ground and have a defined roughness. Thus, in the case of tolerance errors, the window faces (15, 16) are worked off to such an extent as to achieve identical load bearing conditions at the balls.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a lubricating grease suitable for high temperature use, consisting essentially of 60 to 90% by weight of a base oil mixture comprising at least one mineral oil and at least one synthetic oil, 5 to 17% by weight of at least one urea compound as a thickener, wherein the at least one urea compound is a reaction product of at least one fatty amine and at least one isocyanate or at least one diisocyanate, 2 to 20% by weight of calcium complex grease, 1 to 4% by weight of molybdenum disulphide, 0.2 to 1% by weight of graphite powder, 0.2 to 1% by weight of polytetrafluoroethylene powder, 0.2 to 1% by weight of solid particles of at least one organo-molybdenum compound selected from a molybdenum dithiocarbamate and a molybdenum dithiophosphate, up to 2% by weight of a metal deactivator and up to 2% by weight of a corrosion inhibitor.

    Abstract: A cage for a constant velocity universal joint has an increase in the fracture strength of the cage and thus the torque capacity of the entire constant velocity universal joint. This is achieved in that the apertures for the windows in the cage at the circumferentially extending contact faces do not extend parallel to the central axis but contact a virtual sphere arranged at the point of intersection between the radial center plane of the cage and the joint axis. As a result, the webs of the cage comprise a larger cross-section and in consequence, its fracture strength is improved.

    Abstract: A device capable of monitoring the drive shaft line of an agricultural implement which may be subjected to a high degree of irregularity in a manner whereby either instantaneous loads are transmitted to a tractor operator by analog or quasi-digital indications and adapted for inclusion of adjusting and control functions having a measuring shaft with a pair of toothed wheels arranged at opposite ends thereof with differential sensors provided in cooperative relationship with the toothed wheels to sense phase displacement between the toothed wheels proportional to torque occurring at the measuring shaft. Each of the toothed wheels is supported axially outwardly thereof by a pair of journals mounted in bearings of a housing which includes a resilient member for accommodating the device to bending forces.
