  • Patent number: 6310443
Abstract: A jacketed lamp bulb envelope includes a ceramic cup having an open end and a partially closed end, the partially closed end defining an aperture, a lamp bulb positioned inside the ceramic cup abutting the aperture, and a reflective ceramic material at least partially covering a portion of the bulb not abutting the aperture. The reflective ceramic material may substantially fill an interior volume of the ceramic cup not occupied by the bulb. The ceramic cup may include a structural feature for aiding in alignment of the jacketed lamp bulb envelope in a lamp. The ceramic cup may include an external flange about a periphery thereof. One example of a jacketed lamp bulb envelope includes a ceramic cup having an open end and a closed end, a ceramic washer covering the open end of the ceramic cup, the washer defining an aperture therethrough, a lamp bulb positioned inside the ceramic cup abutting the aperture, and a reflective ceramic material filling an interior volume of the ceramic cup not occupied by the bulb.

  • Patent number: 6155564
Abstract: An air system with an improved structure used in a rotary game table of the game table machine is disclosed. The rotary game table is pivoted on a game table base and has two different game table structures for table soccer and hockey table on the top and bottom surfaces of the game table plate, respectively. An electric fan is hidden in the goal frame of the game table for table soccer to provide sufficient air stream for hockey table to float the ball. The goal is used as an air inlet to reduce the vertical thickness of the rotary game table. The manufacturing cost and delivery cost are also decreased because of simpler structure and less material used.

  • Patent number: 6003866
Abstract: A pressure control device of buoyancy disk game machine comprises a motor and a fan, characteristic in that a plurality of openings are installed on the pillar of the fan. Thereby, the reversed pressure within the space of the game machine may be released from the opening, thus the wind resistance of the fan blade may be reduced, and the motor temperature is also reduced.

  • Patent number: 5775200
Abstract: An air pump consisting of a housing, a piston, a piston-rod, and a cover is disclosed. The housing is a open-top hollow cylinder which contains a lower portion of the piston-rod and the piston connected to the bottom end of the piston-rod. The housing is topped by the cover which has a circular hole located at the center so as to allow the piston-rod to pass through the cover into the housing. The piston is connected with the piston-rod in a manner that the piston can rotate around the connecting point to some small degree while remains connected with the piston-rod. This may prevent the deviation of the piston from the position perpendicular to the inner wall of the cylinder caused by the sway of the piston-rod when the piston-rod is moved up and down. In addition, a cavity is formed in the surface of the piston-rod near the top to retain a ball needle.

  • Patent number: 5618039
Abstract: This invention relates to a batting exercising device for baseball, it includes a longitudinal axis, an adjustable tripod used to support the longitudinal axis, a V rack which can horizontally rotate around the longitudinal axis, and a ball-like component installed on the end of the V rack, in which a switch providing an elastic resistance to the V rack is installed between the engaging pans of the V rack, and the single-way controllers which provide frictional resistance to one rotating direction of the V rack are installed on the top and bottom of the engaging pans respectively. By constructing the above components, the elastic and frictional resistance of the switch and the one-way controller can decrease the rotation speed of the V rack for safety consideration when the V rack is driven to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise by the ball-like component struck by the player.

  • Patent number: 5580047
Abstract: A training device for hitting a baseball is disclosed. The device includes a baseboard, an upstanding column, and flexible duct, and a transverse arm. A longitudinal rotary axle is located below the base side of the transverse arm; a rotary axle is inserted into the upper end of the upstanding column; an elastic pad is set in the engaging interface between the rotary axle and the inner wall of the upstanding column, and an engaging pipe for engaging the flexible duct is set above the end of the transverse arm. The transverse arm is rotated around the axle center of the base side, so that a baseball on a bearing disk of the flexible duct can adjust to the preset hitting position within the range of the rotation radius of the transverse arm.

  • Patent number: 4887822
Abstract: A kind of lawn dart, including a rotatable flight portion and weighted material being located in the front end of head member, to enable dart being able to maintain a steady flight trajectory after having been thrusted, and to enable it being able to restore to vertical state immediately from any oblique position after falling to the ground. The front end of its head member has a sounding member comprising a vibration chamber and a vibration tongue which enables it to give off the sounds accompanied by the air flow having been vibrated following the flight to enhance a fun for playing.

  • Patent number: 4424401
Abstract: A process for production of hydrocarbons useful as fuels, comprises contacting a feed stream containing acetylene with a zeolite catalyst, whereby a reaction product containing said hydrocarbons is obtained. In a preferred embodiment the feed stream contains acetylene in admixture with one or more other compounds, for example inert gases, water, hydrogen, methane, ethane, and alcohols.
