    Abstract: A car radio having a removable operating part and a recording unit for audio signals, the recording unit being arranged in the operating part. A microphone connected to the recording unit and arranged in the operating part can record audio signals when the operating part is removed so that it can be used, for example, as a dictation device. The removed operating part is powered via a battery housed in the operating part.
